My Vampire Faints at Blood Chapter 66
"Shut up, all of you, and don't make any noise!" The evil atmosphere he had managed to create was diluted by the bloodsucker's shouting. The dark wizard slapped the table and yelled, satisfied that he had kept his mouth shut before turning to the female vampire, "Your job is done, take the person you want and go, don't interfere with my show-"
"What gives you the illusion that you can command me, that wand of the Primordial in your hand that is hundreds of years younger than me?" Dev's pretty face took on a haughty tone, a slight chill entered her voice, and her eyes flashed a threatening shade of blood, "I haven't given up on the idea of taking Xiao Wei Long back just yet. Killing this human will do me no harm, so I won't stop you – but if you don't get it right again, I won't mind seeing if the blood of a dark wizard tastes like coffee or cola, do you understand?"
A two-thousand-year-old pureblood vampire was clearly not to be trifled with. Lang Weixian gave her a fierce glare before he had to grit his teeth and relent. A mysterious, ancient black incantation was chanted, and the auction hall suddenly shook violently as twelve black cages slowly rose to the surface.
The cages were all filled with different inhuman races. Not only was the missing golden dragon inside, but also the little phoenix and the Tibetan fox, who were supposed to be on a treasure hunt, all lay motionless, and it was unclear as to whether they were unconscious or had lost their lives.
"Daddy!" The sobbing voice of Xian Bei suddenly rang out as he struggled to get up to save his father, but Wayne Loki was quick to retrieve him, nudging the young dragon twice in the head: "My stupid little uncle, are you planning on getting yourself killed – that guy is as powerful as Dev's stepmother! Don't think he's going to show you any mercy just because you're both from Wang Wang..."
"Wang Wang!" At the sound of a familiar name, the little kitten, who had been lying on the head of the yoghurt elf, suddenly stood up excitedly, "Snow cake! Small crisp! Drink grandma!" (Angel: These three are all food products sold by a company named Wang Wang Foods Co.)
"No, no, calm down, he can't eat-" A physically and mentally exhausted Wayne Loki held down his two struggling brother-in-laws with one hand while he reached for his food-obsessed cheap brother. He forgot that he was still on top of the vampire hunter, so he let go of both hands at the same time and lost his balance, falling backwards to the ground. (Angel: Cheap brother is a term for a brother who is not related by blood.)
The little kitten grabbed at the air and the two little dragons took the opportunity to break free from his clutch and lunged defiantly towards the evil Lang Weixian.
Wayne Loki closed his eyes in despair, and before he could fall to the ground, a strong arm took him by the collar.
"What did you just say, can you say it again?"
"I–" The gangster with a backbone naturally refused to admit that he had sold himself out so defiantly because he sensed something odd about this vampire hunter and had a hunch that he had a way to force back that terrible woman. When he met those scrutinising eyes, he stubbornly strained his neck, "I just like you, do you like it or not!"
"Of course I do..." A slight smirk flashed in the vampire hunter's eyes as he placed the bloodsucking ball, which had in fact been shivering, on the ground and slowly unbuttoned his shirt with one hand.
"You, you, what are you doing!" Horrified at the rogue vampire hunter who had actually started to undress in public, Wayne Loki suddenly felt intensely uneasy, finally realising that he seemed to have taken a leap into a tiger's den in order to jump out of the wolf pit. Rolling backwards and moving away, he looked helplessly at Wei Long and Dev, who were still confronting each other, and for a moment actually wondered which way he should go in order to die a slightly less spectacular death.
"Good boy, don't make trouble, I'll play with you when we get back." Zhuge Kaoyu rubbed his head, met Dev's suddenly wary gaze, and completely untucked his shirt, revealing the bloody mandala mark on his left chest, "You heard him, he said he was mine – are you going to waste any more time here?"
"The boy from the Zhuge family..." Some resentment flashed in Dev's eyes, but it quickly turned into helplessness. Spitting softly, she took a compromising step back and raised an eyebrow to look at the ten-faced, bewildered Wayne Loki, "You better be careful, their clan are humans cursed by the ancestors of the Blood. That mandala allows them to in turn suck the blood of our blood race and deprive and possess the power of the one being sucked – I can't believe you found such a boyfriend, I sincerely wish you a happy life in the future."
"What the hell kind of curse is this – did our ancestors drink some fake blood in the first place?!" It was impossible to see where this horrible ability had anything to do with curses. The gangster leapt to his feet in righteous indignation, but before he could finish expressing his protest, he was dragged behind Zhuge Kaoyu by the collar.
"Apart from him, I owe Mr. Wei a favour that has needed to be repaid for a long time – considering that he is in a sense considered my father-in-law, you'd better give up your delusions about him as well, can you do that?"
"Doesn't matter, I'm not going to sleep with a male vampire who tries to kill me, especially when that male vampire's power has suddenly grown quite a bit for some reason." Dev shrugged again and inclined her head in disbelief. Taking two steps backwards, her body melted into a dark mist.
"That little one called Lemon Tea, you'd better grow up fast – I'll be back for you when you come of age to help you complete the pureblood purification..." The latter words and the black fog dissipated together, and Wei Long finally broke free from the sealing net that was designed to restrain purebloods. Without bothering to thank Zhuge Kaoyu, his body shot towards his human like a bow.
Having finally overcome the feeding barrier, the pureblood king's power had finally returned to its peak level. The seals on the doors and windows were unable to withstand such violent power fluctuations, and the wind and rain poured in.
The non-human races trapped in the venue finally found their chance and fled without a thought, leaving countless wealth and treasures behind, without anyone bothering to stop and pick them up.
Not expecting this pureblood vampire to be this powerful, Lang Weixian's body couldn't help but sway, falling to the ground on his buttocks while looking at the other party with a gaze full of excitement: "Your blood crystals must be of good quality – counting this human, I have rounded up twelve races, leaving only one place for a vampire. If I can use you for the sacrifice, I'm sure I can summon a stronger demon out..."
"If I give you the blood crystal, will you be willing to release him?" The layer of black protective shield had already been densely covered with cracks, but it still hadn't been broken. The pureblood king, who had almost exhausted all of his strength with one blow, dropped to one knee, his bloodshot eyes staring at the human doctor, unaware of whether he was alive or dead, and his tone was quiet, as if he was proposing a perfectly ordinary deal.
"Oh no no no, he is not like you, he is not for sale." Lang Weixian teased a wicked grin, tightening his arm around the human again and touching his cheek provocatively, "As much as I regret it, demons are a very selective race, they only feed on human souls. Summoning them out, I always have to treat them to a meal..."
"Buy a meal – a meal!" Hearing his favourite word, the little Taotie, who was not affected at all by the stagnant atmosphere of the scene, gave a cheerful cry and, more and more certain that the black wizard must have something delicious on him, stepped into the air and swooped towards him excitedly.
"Wei Yao, come back here!" The depleted vampire, unable to move for the moment, cried out anxiously, but the little kitten had slammed into the crack-covered shield. Dazed, he raised his paws to rub his head, and before he could stand up, the two little dragons had no time to put the brakes on and crashed into it, one after the other.
It was like a camel being crushed by the last straw. The shield swayed helplessly and finally became utterly powerless, and was completely smashed into pieces by the three little ones by mistake.
Lang Weixian took two steps back in shock, but the mask on his face crumbled at the same time, revealing a handsome face that was pierced with evil.
"I remember now – it's you!" Seeing that face, An Muxi's memory suddenly revived and he couldn't help but leap up, pointing at him and speaking loudly: "He's a liar, he's not even called by such a foreign name! His real name is Zhou Heiya, a traitor who escaped from Laoshan Magic Academy–"
"Shut the hell up, bastard runaway elf brat!" Lang Weixian's face instantly darkened, and the wand in his hand suddenly burst out with a dense deadly aura, stabbing straight towards An Muxi.
Yan Maifan sighed helplessly, put the elf who was causing trouble everywhere behind him, fished out a talisman paper directed at the black aura, and slapped the incoming deadly aura away: "So it's you, the dark magician who invaded the headquarters of the Special Department and was repelled by Muxi... "
"Bullshit, he wants to repel me with that little power – if you were singing with him you'd be off tune too!!!" Forced to recall the disastrous past, Lang Weixian's face darkened again, and the hand strangling the human tightened once again. He was about to cast a spell to put up another shield when the little kitten jumped onto his shoulder, scratching off the tightly covered wizard's robe with a few strokes of his paws: "Zhou Hei Ya! Duck neck! Duck gizzards! Bean shoots! Spicy lotus root slices!" (Angel: Zhou Hei Yan is an enterprise that specialises in producing braised products, with its main business being duck meat.)
"Shut the hell up – don't ever call that name again!" Lang Weixian thundered and swung his arms around, but he couldn't catch the tiny kitten. Seeing his negligence, the vampire's gaze lit up and he was about to take the opportunity to leap forward and save his human, but Yan Maifan gently squeezed his shoulder, "Don't be impulsive, he has sacrificed himself to the demon. You and the demon are of the same dark race, and without the human blood as a buffer, you will be affected by the demon and go berserk once you get close."
"But-" Looking at the human doctor who was still under his control, a hint of anxiety flashed in the vampire's eyes, and he subconsciously wanted to retort, but the stalemate suddenly changed once again.
There was a sudden, slight cracking sound in the void beside Shang Haojia.
"Brother!" The little Taotie's eyes lit up and he quickly cast aside the dark magician who couldn't figure out what exactly the snack was. Jumping down, he peeled off the cloak of invisibility wrapped around the thermos and poked his paws out to fish out the Bi'an egg.
As the egg continued to shake, the cracking sound became more and more pronounced. Within a few moments, there was a crunching sound, and a small tiger stood up with a small piece of egg shell on its head, picking at the edge of the egg and wobbling.
"Brother, delicious!" The little kitten slapped a paw on the little tiger's head and waved a paw grandly towards Lang Weixian, generously sharing his haul with his brother.
The little tiger blinked dazedly and leapt out of the eggshell with two flaps, spreading both wings wetly behind him. Fluttering them vigorously and flapping them a few times, he took to the air and jumped after his brother onto the supposedly delicious wizard's shoulder, biting the side of his neck.
"Get out of the way, you little bastard!" Not expecting these two little guys to be so difficult, Lang Weixian's eyes were dark with desire. He was about to kill them without a second thought when his movements suddenly stalled and his expression took on a bit of panic: "What's going on, my power-"
Before he could say anything else, the human doctor, who had been silent, suddenly made a move.
With the entire non-human race watching, Doctor Shang yanked on the other man's arm that was strangling him and swooped the two little ones into his arms. Stumbling to his feet and holding his shoulder with one hand, he suddenly launched himself sideways and slammed the dark wizard, who was too slow to react, solidly to the ground with a side slam.
Without giving the other man a chance to catch his breath, the human doctor spun around and placed one knee against his chest. The sharp scalpel in his hand rested against his neck and patted the little tiger's head encouragingly, "How clever, learning carotid injection so quickly..."

I was so worryyy. Lang Wei Ian was so strong that he could caught 12 inhuman races.
ReplyDeleteBut 3 little dragons became his downfall? Never see it coming. And finally the Bi'an egg was cracked! After a cute kitten now we have a cute little tiger? Why didn't they look like dragons? 😅
And suddenly Doctor Shang made a move that turned back the situation. But judging from his words, I think he filled the thermos with medical liquid?
Btw I couldn't understand Dev. At first she went after Wei Long. So I thought she was once his lover. But she quickly chang8her mind and after Loki. Only to change her mind again to pursue Loki's little brother. I mean make up your mind, girl. 🙄
