My Vampire Faints at Blood Chapter 56

The Offspring of Inbred Marriages are Prone to Disease

"Zhu-Zhu-Zhuge!" Wayne Loki shivered violently, finally realising how much trouble he had caused, and shrank his head back, "I, I know I'm wrong, forgive me, I'll never dare to do it again..."

"Don't worry, I'm not angry with you, at least you sang in tune, even though you had slurred speech and you can only sing one song. Perhaps you won't believe me, but I now have a strong soft spot for anyone who can sing in the right key." Smiling at this cute new pureblood, Zhuge Kaoyu pushed up his glasses and put one hand on his waist. He leaned down gracefully and extended a hand towards him, "All bloods need to go to the Special Department for additional registration after ascending – Which family are you from? Would you like to go back with me to register?"

"What a joke, our Leith family is a proud mob family, we don't care about your tedious and useless procedures!" Seeing that the other party's attitude was quite amiable, the bloodsucking young master, who had always been a vampire, became bolder and straightened up and grunted, "I haven't been registered since I was a child, my name is not in your records at all!"

Not expecting him to blacken his own family and admit it so quickly, the human doctor couldn't help but rub his temples, and he looked at him with a bit more heartfelt sympathy.

"So that's how it is – then please allow me to rephrase it.." Zhuge Kaoyu nodded good-naturedly, his face still wearing a decent, faint smile. With a casual tug at his waist, he took out a pair of handcuffs and cuffed the young yakuza master, who had been unaware of the high ground just a moment ago, in a solid manner, "Young brat of the Leith family, would you like to go back with me to record the information?"

"..." Not expecting the other party to have the ability to change his face like a book, the young master of the yakuza, who had never been treated badly before in his life, blinked in fear and opened his mouth with difficulty, but he couldn't say a word, and his eyes turned red with aggression.

"I can't believe you're about to cry like this... Are you really from a yakuza family?" Looking at his reaction, Zhuge Kaoyu rubbed the corner of his forehead, feeling a headache and half squatted in front of him. Putting the other end of the handcuffs on his own wrist, his tone eased once again, "Look, I've cuffed myself too – now we're the same, do you think it's okay?"

"Yes!" The simple bloodsucking young master nodded vigorously in relief and huffed, his face showing some smugness again.

Zhuge Kaoyu nodded, patiently rubbed his head, then pulled the handcuffs and stood up, "All right, come back to the Special Agency with me – it's just to register, I will send you home after that."

"Wait – I feel like I've been tricked!" Subconsciously following him, Wayne Loki stood up and took two steps forward before he finally reacted to the fact that he had been trapped. Instantly struggling desperately to get away, he turned his head back towards the unforgiving king of purebloods and stretched out his hand vigorously, "Daddy! Daddy, don't you want me anymore? Daddy! Love me once more Daddy...!"

"No, I don't have a son like you." Ruthlessly, he rejected the other's plea for help. Agilely, Wei Long swept his human back two steps, precisely out of arm's reach, and waved a friendly hand towards the vampire hunter, "It's okay to send him back in no hurry, it's been hard for you to look after him."

"For vampire and human service." With a skilled reply of standard formality content, Zhuge Kaoyu pressed one hand against the crook of his other arm and returned the salute with him. With that, he turned around, leading the sobbing bloodsucking ball, and quickly disappeared into the night.

"I probably understand now why, when his father called, he demanded that we pay a ransom before he would take him back..." Following his vampire all the way back to the hotpot restaurant, Doctor Shang finally let out a sigh of relief, but as soon as he stepped through the door, his eyes were fixed on the busy back kitchen.

The staff, who had just changed bosses, were working hard. The magpies were carrying ingredients back and forth, and the flamingos were holding flags and shouting cheers. There was also a row of hens working overtime laying eggs, clearly in overdrive service mode.

When he saw the two men return, a flamingo hastily dropped the small flag in his hand and ran over quickly, snapping to a standing position and bowing deeply again, "Two bosses, young master Taotie has already emptied the store of ingredients. The hawk, falcon, and sea eagle teams have just split up to stock up, the pelicans and sea swallows have gone to buy seafood, and the hens are working hard to lay eggs to try to fill the gap and keep the table from breaking!"

......

The little Taotie's fighting prowess was obviously amazing. By the time the little guy finally had a rare fill and was snoring away in the crook of the vampire's arm, it was nearly midnight.

Considering the amount of stuff that had to be brought back, the werewolf butler thoughtfully drove over to pick it up and ran to the door with an umbrella, "Why is it only raining here, did you make those two little ancestors cry again?"

"That, my loyal friend, is not really a question to ask us – I'm more curious about this, how did you get Wayne Loki to run out with the Taotie and Bi'an egg when you should be the one responsible for guarding them?" The vampire's body glowed with a faint bloody light as he flicked the rain away and escorted his human into the back seat. He followed suit and looked at the sarcastic looking werewolf with a nonchalant question.

Sheepishly rubbing his nose, He Jialun closed the car door for them, sat in the driver's seat, and expertly put on the seat belt, "So what, I just – it's just that Doctor Shang's friend, the hybrid succubus called Eli, sent an owl with an invitation, saying that it was some kind of prize for the first place at Comic-Con..."

"What invitation – is it something from the non-human world?" He didn't expect Comic-Con to have such mysterious ways. Shang Haojia distractedly asked while soothingly touching the two little dragons who were twitching, and patiently eased his voice, "When you don't bring your stomach medicine out tomorrow, Brother will treat you two to something delicious, okay?"

"I want to eat beef, and I want baby vegetables and fish tofu..." Xian Bao huffed and nodded,  not forgetting to mention the conditions while he had the chance.

On the side, Xian Bei wiped his tears with his tail, hugged his Brother Doctor's sleeve and rubbed it, "I also want crispy pork – and crystal buns, five of them..."

"Good, wait until tomorrow and I'll let you two pick out whatever you want to eat." Drawn to chuckle softly by the little ones, the human doctor nodded patiently and replied in a warm voice, wiping the tears from the two little dragons' eyes, "Be good, don't cry. The road is slippery in the dark, and Uncle Ha can easily get into danger while driving."

"That, actually my surname is He..." The half-blood husky emphasised without any force and waited for the two little ones to fall sweetly asleep with their fondue dreams before he touched his nose again and couldn't help sneezing.

"It's an invitation to Galleff's auction – From what I can deduce, this Comic-Con cosplay competition is all about scouting out humans with an interest in non-human races, and the first prize winner gets a chance to see the non-human races' auction up close. But that classmate of yours is already a half-blood succubus and can only transfer the opportunity to a pure human, and since it would be inconvenient for a group of students to divide it, he sent you the entrance ticket."

"Galleff?" Doctor Shang nodded thoughtfully and took the invitation he handed over, opening it with interest and studying it. The vampire thoughtfully turned on the overhead light for him, and looked at the werewolf butler in the front row with raised eyebrows. "My friend – that still doesn't explain why you didn't keep an eye on Wayne Loki and let him get away..."

"Okay, okay, must you be so hot on the trail every time?" Sighing helplessly, He Jialun shook his head in resignation and turned the car onto the main road, "I admit, I just looked at this invitation and got excited, so I went around the black market to see if there were any admission tickets or something for sale..."

Before the words were out of his mouth, he couldn't help but sneeze hard again and rubbed his nose vigorously, "Taotie's does not lose hair. Let me ask one more question, were you two out there with a dog?"

"No, we just had a meal with a Tibetan fox hybrid werewolf." Thinking of the departing emoji pack, Wei Long's eyes took on a faint smile again as he shook his head helplessly, "I have to say, he was really very impactful when he transformed, and I can understand his reasoning for being banished from the clan more than yours, who at least has a very beautiful and imposing appearance..."

"I'll take that as a compliment on my good looks." The hybrid husky whistled triumphantly and flicked his tail twice, "I know that dude, his screen name is China Good Voice, he's in a hybrid werewolf support group with me – I always thought his avatar was an emoji he downloaded online, but it turns out to be him in person?"

"In fact, I'm more suspicious that the online emojis are him in person." The invitation was nothing more than common courtesy, and there was really nothing to see. Shang Haojia closed the invitation and added with a light smile, looking up curiously, "A hybrid werewolf support group – is it that common for you werewolf hybrids?"

"Right. In fact, the werewolf clan originally followed the example of the vampires and promoted intermarriage between purebred werewolves. But the number of purebred werewolves was originally small, and it was slowly discovered that the wolf cubs born this way would have many genetic diseases and were less powerful than mixed-blood werewolves – however, because of the uncertainty of the mixed-blood race, there were many werewolves who were not strong enough to fight against the mixed-blood werewolves and would be driven out of the clan and left to fend for themselves, like I was." The mixed-blood husky nodded seriously, and his tail then perked up again as he proudly raised his head and showed off.

"I've had a good time playing with a half-breed corgi named Stargazer lately. He lives in Buckingham Palace in England and I'm told he's treated very well. He invited me to play with him sometime... He said his master would love me with my snowy white handsome long legs!"

  1. Sometimes I felt sorry for Wayne Loki. But sometimes I want to punish him when he acted like a spoiled kid like that. 😅

Ah what a picture it was to see a kitten (Taotie) ate so much with birds as cheerleaders 🤭

The wolves hybrids are so sad. Its good they have group support like that.
