My Vampire Faints at Blood Chapter 22

It Takes Three Minutes for Children to Brush Their Teeth

"So – it turns out that the part of you that attracted him wasn't the werewolf, but rather the husky…" Doctor Shang nodded thoughtfully while holding his chin. He pulled up Eli and He Jialun, who were entangled on the ground, one by one, and handed over the freshly-separated plasma in the test tube, "I'll leave it for you to arrange and sterilise."

"It's easy for you to say." As he took the test tube, Eli rubbed his shoulders, and couldn't help but glance at the three dragons in front of him. Carefully taking another look at the vampire who had broken all of the window railings and cautiously touching the big tail dangling behind the werewolf's butt, he finally couldn't help but shake his head, "Why do I have this feeling that – it seems that normal people are the minority in this laboratory… Could it be that the world developed this rapidly when I was addicted to scientific research?"

The werewolf who bravely saved the man rubbed his tail that was sore from the fall, staggered to his feet, and shook his head disapprovingly as he muttered, "You are a mixed-blood succubus, how come you are not as capable of accepting as Doctor Shang is?"

Surprisingly, the other party not only felt no panic about having his identity exposed, but he looked at him with surprise, "What hybrid – what am I?"

"Shh–" Wei Long jumped down from the window sill, made a silent shush gesture towards He Jialun, and returned to the crowd with a smile, "I think having these dragon highnesses stay in the laboratory will have an influence on Mr. Eli's experiment. If there are things we must discuss, we might be able to separate the two groups and talk in another place – My dear friend, what is your opinion?"

Shang Haojia sat at the table, writing intently. When he heard this, he spoke without raising his head, "Eli, give me the office key." When he raised his hand to receive the key being thrown by the other party, Xiao Bao suddenly rushed over from the side and grabbed the glistening key in his mouth.

"Bao'er – don't make trouble!" The fire dragon was startled, and hurriedly tried his best to beckon him back. Xian Bao hovered in the air for a second with the key in his mouth before suddenly coming back to his senses and quickly putting the key back, "Sorry Dad – I just saw something flying through the sky and, I don't know why, but I had a strong urge to come over and grab it…"

"I can probably guess why." Putting down the pen in his hand, Doctor Shang picked up the key, thoughtfully looked at the husky friend on the side, and shook his head regretfully, "So – you guardian dragons, don't give the children random food, otherwise, it is easy to cause some unexpected trouble."

"Yes, yes, yes – you are right, we must be more careful in the future…" The fire dragon rubbed his paws together awkwardly and honestly bowed his head as he admitted his mistake.

Shang Haojia didn't say anything else, he just patted his bony wings and gave Eli the paper he was writing on, "I wrote down the precautions for injecting the serum. Once you make the serum, just give it to him to avoid the risk of there being any new troubles – Mr. He, can you stay here and protect them?"

"Don't worry, I will be responsible to the end for the troubles my clan has caused." The werewolf nodded happily and patted his chest.

Shang Haojia nodded and straightened up, then shoved the paper he had in his hand at Eli, "I'll leave it to you, is that okay?"

"If you don't take into account that in the past five years, 90% of the living creatures I have pierced with needles have been rabbits and mice, it should be no problem." Still shocked by the changes in the world, Eli took the paper handed over by the other party and carefully read it over twice before finally nodding in a complicated mood.

"..." Driven by his doctor's sense of responsibility, Doctor Shang gave up the idea of being lazy and took the piece of paper back again, "Forget it, take him to find me when the serum is ready – Xian Bei's father, please follow me so we can talk about Xian Bei first, is that okay?"

"Okay, please, please," The fire dragon nodded quickly, then turned his head back and beckoned at his two sons.

As soon as Xian Bao wanted to jump over, his brother tearfully caught his tail, "Brother…"

Xian Bao wanted to go to his father's head, but he was unwilling to just leave his brother like this. Just as the good brother Xian Bao was in a dilemma, the cold human doctor had already bent over, grabbed the two dragons, and put one in each of his pockets.

"Wait a minute –" Knowing that his son was afraid of heights, the fire dragon nervously stepped forward to stop him. However, because his claws were too short, he could only flutter his claws twice and watch his son slip into the other's pocket.

Shang Haojia waved his hand indifferently, fiddled with the dizzy little dragon in his pocket, and watched it tearfully bite his finger, "Every time you take him into the sky, do you blindfold him?"

"Bei'er's courage is too small. When he is scared, he will cry and it will rain. The weather station has issued three warnings to us, if we make it rain casually, we will be fined." The fire dragon rubbed his claws and cautiously moved to follow him out the door, his tail all tangled and curled up, "Can you – can you return my sons to me first? When A'Lin comes back and sees that I didn't take care of the two of them, I will definitely be punished with push-ups…"

"Don't worry, the bloodlines of the two little highnesses are very pure, it's impossible to harm them with just this." The vampire at the side smiled politely and patted the fire dragon on the shoulder, "This dragon friend, you can rest assured – Doctor Shang's medical skills are very good, if anyone can help your son, that person must be him."

The fire dragon hurriedly nodded at him politely, then bowed with his claws together and thanked him sincerely, "Thank you, thank you, you people are so nice – Are you a vampire? I have seen a vampire before, but his blood was much heavier than yours. You are different from him, you look like a good vampire…"

Hearing that the vampire behind him was suddenly issued a compliment, Shang Haojia couldn't help but shake his head and chuckle. He lightly tossed the key at him and stood outside Eli's office, waiting for him to come open the door with folded arms.

The vampire greeted the other party with a ridiculous look, but there was also a helplessly indulgent smile in his ink-coloured pupils. He hurried over to open the door, and leaned forward gracefully with one hand on his shoulder, "Please come in, my dear friend – shall I bring you two cups of tea?"

"If I really said that I needed them, what would you do?" Raising an eyebrow curiously, he waited for the fire dragon to enter the office before Shang Haojia followed him in and put the two little dragons on the table.

The vampire's expression stiffened for a bit, and then returned to a calm smile. Smiling slightly, he closed the door with with his backhand, "My dear friend, as long as it is what you need, whatever it is, I will find a way to get it–"

"That's outdated, you can order takeout now." Interrupting him with a chuckle, Shang Haojia took out his mobile phone and clicked on the take-out interface, placing it on the table solemnly, "Seriously, I think you races that do not find it convenient to go out are especially suitable for this way of ordering food. You can even develop it yourself and order something that only you can eat…"

While marketing the convenience of modern life to the vampire and the fire dragon, Doctor Shang calmly picked up Xian Bei, who was still biting his finger. Looking at the two shallow red marks that were not even pits, he opened the mouth of the little dragon and looked at it, then took out his pen-shaped flashlight and shook it twice, "Xian Bei's father, your son has a lighter bite on his right than his left. I suspect that there may be tooth decay, it is best to take him for a checkup."

"I don't want to see a dentist – I don't have cavities!" The little dragon turned around in fear and hid behind his brother, shaking his head vigorously.

Doctor Shang raised his eyebrows slightly, nodded noncommittally, and poked the dragon's horns lightly, "It's true that it's hard to see it from the outside now. In the future, after eating candy, remember to brush your teeth for a full three minutes, okay?"

Already frightened by the human doctor, the little dragon didn't even dare to cry, his whole body stiffened and formed a stick as he nodded nervously.

Doctor Shang nodded slightly with satisfaction, took out a piece of paper to write two lines on, and then tilted his body to look at the fire dragon at his side, "I would like to know more, in addition to wanting to pounce on things he sees flying, did your elder son change after taking that tube of serum?"

The fire dragon felt guilty again as soon as he mentioned the crime he had committed before. Lowering his head, he responded in a low voice, "Bao'er has always been a little more outgoing and lively than Bei'er. Except for the sofa that was destroyed by the burst of power that happened after the serum was taken, I haven't noticed any other changes…"

Shang Haojia raised his eyebrows and tilted his head thoughtfully, "If I'm not mistaken, this is probably a natural talent called 'demolition', generally passed down generation to generation by Siberian Huskies, Alaskan Malamutes, Samoyeds, and other breed of sled dog, in which the main skill is that your sofa, wall coverings, coffee tables, and other things will be turned into pieces in a very short period of time…"

"There's such a terrible ability?" The fire dragon involuntarily shivered. Looking at him nervously, he tried to hold his arms with his little paws, "Doctor, Doctor, what can I do, is there any cure – If A'Lin finds out about this, he will definitely spank both of us!"

  1. Those dog's behavior talk really made me laugh. 😂

So Eli didn't know that he was a mixed blood succubus?

It was really a mistake to give Xiao Bao the serum. He really didn't need it. It's funny to read the dragons would be fine if caused unplanning rain.

By the way, there's a little mistyped there. Aside in the beginning, you type Xiao in Xiao Bao and Xiao Bei to Xian.

    1. What a way to find out you are a mixed blood 😂

Thank you for always pointing these little mistakes out for me, it really helps! Xiao makes so much sense since they are little dragons and I had just translated the chapter of SCI with Xiao Zhan Zhao and Xiao Bai Yutang, so I wrote Xiao for the dragons instead of Xian, which is their actual name 😅

    2. Ooopss that they real name? 🤭😝

By the way I love the author's sense of humor. The title of each chapters seems like some regular / ordinary information. But then we read the contain of the chapters and couldn't help smiling 😁
