My Vampire Faints at Blood Chapter 21

Crying is Good for Blood Circulation

While sucking on the candy in its mouth, the little dragon studied how to tie up the hair on the big tail without being distracted. While having fun, he didn't realise that he was a little further from the ground than he was before.

Seeing his reaction, Doctor Shang also nodded in satisfaction and signalled for He Jialun not to say anything, then followed Eli into the laboratory.

"Doctor Shang, Doctor Shang – do you need to draw another tube of blood?" Seeing the group go through the door, He Jialun quickly grabbed Shang Haojia. Lowering his voice and leaning forward, he asked, "If – if you have to draw more blood, can we go to a more private place? As you know, after transforming, my personality gets me into trouble easily…"

"Rest assured, Muxi and I know that you can't show your identity in front of outsiders, I will try to keep a low profile." Shang Haojia nodded understandingly, Leading him to the laboratory, he grabbed a beaker from the shelf, then held the little dragon crawling on the dog's tail and put them both on the table.

His movements are too fluid. Before the little dragon could react, he was put into the beaker and, like a riding a roller coaster, he was caught off guard, "Oh my god, ah, ah–"

The little dragon's childish screams rang through the laboratory, circling the beaker in vain, and his gushing tears instantly overflowed along the mouth of the beaker.

Almost immediately, thunder clapped outside the window and the sky, which had cleared up, turned gloomy again in the blink of an eye.

The pragmatic werewolf wagged his tail worriedly. Suddenly, some inexplicable sense of responsibility came out of the nanny dog, "How about – how about you let it go back, it's not too heavy anyway…"

"It's okay. If children cry more, it can promote blood circulation and can also exercise their lung capacity – Anyway, we are no longer outside, it's okay to let him cry properly." Doctor Shang waved his hand indifferently. Turning around, he fished a first aid kit from the cabinet and grabbed a test tube from the steriliser, "Come on, let's go to the bathroom, let's solve the problem of the serum first."

Although it was clear what the two of them were going to do, the vampire still anxiously stopped his study of various reagents. He straightened up, holding onto the lab table, and blinked kindly at the big dog who pesters for hugs as soon as he transforms, "How about it, do you need me to help?"

"No, no – I am a disciplined person, I definitely won't do anything!" The innocent husky friend shivered instinctively. Shaking his head vigorously, he pulled Shang Haojia and strode out, "Quickly – how about you take some extra this time. Take two instead of one, it saves me from having to do this again…"

Awkward at first but becoming skillful later, thanks to his previous experience, Veterinarian Shang's movements this time were obviously more neat and skilful. Pinching his neck with one hand, he pressed the big dog up to the sink, took one of his paws and disinfected it, then quickly drew a tube of blood and set it aside, "I was thinking about it just now, but if the blood of the werewolf is really useful to the dragons, would they not attack you?"

"I don't know about this – maybe it is a folk remedy or something. Just like how somebody once said that drinking the blood of a vampire can make you beautiful, or that eating a dragon is like taking an aphrodisiac, such rumours are all over the world, and the breeding of carnivorous dragons once became a pillar industry in Western Europe." Under the deterrence of the vampire, this time the big dog gritted his teeth and held back his grievance. Surviving the torment of getting blood drawn, he successfully restored his human state, grabbed his clothes from the side, and put them on.

"Doctor Shang, I'm not one to pick fights, but you better be careful with your mixed-race succubus classmate – Although I have never seen a male who can inherit the succubus lineage, I still feel that he smells like he is teasing you…"

"Who are you talking about – Eli?" Shang Haojia cleared the things around the sink and raised an eyebrow. Obviously, he has successfully accepted the assumption that there is only one normal person in the world, "No wonder that boy's five-year peach blossom relationship has never been broken. He received so many love letters from girls, and basically everyone in the dormitory called him the flower that attracted bees…"

"So the succubus was only attracting the opposite sex? I thought that they attracted both men and women." The innocent wolf suddenly hit himself on the head, then smiled and leaned to the side, "Doctor Shang, I'm really not one to pick a fight – but did you know that a female succubus has flirted with your vampire before? In order to show her heart, she took the initiative to write a blood letter to him and sent it over, and as a result, he was frightened and fainted, it was on the news…"

"Is that the thing Eli apologised to Mr. Wei for just now?" Without a comment, he accepted the other party's ambiguous statement, and Doctor Shang rubbed his chin thoughtfully. Just as he was about to ask more about the specific situation of the situation, he heard a deafening roar come from the end of the hallway, "Oh no, let's go."

Listening to the movements coming from the laboratory, Shang Haojia put his thoughts away and hurried back, but as soon as he entered the laboratory, he couldn't help but widen his eyes at the situation in front of him.

In front of him was the huge body of a winged fire dragon.

The fire dragon was crimson red and looked quite fierce, but there was a small golden dragon on top of its head who was blowing its whiskers at the crowd with great enthusiasm, "You bad guys, you dare to bully my brother, I won't forgive you!"

The fire dragon was quite large and almost filled all of the open space in the laboratory. Eli was sitting on the lab table, holding the glass beaker, while the youth was standing on the side, shivering.

Shang Haojia looked around the laboratory, however, he could not find the vampire's always conspicuous figure, "Where is Mr. Wei?"

"I am here, my dear friend – is there anything I can do for you?" A familiar and elegant voice suddenly came from behind the fire dragon. Shang Haojia leaned forward following the sound and saw Wei Long sitting on the window sill, patiently bending the guard rails one by one with his bare hands. Still in the mood to smile lightly, he waved at him.

After being moved for three seconds by the vampire who loved defacing public things, Doctor Shang hid the blood he had just drawn behind him and waved his hand for him to continue breaking the railing. He then shook the small claws of the fire dragon in front of him in a friendly manner, "Are you the parent of Xian Bei? His fear of heights is a bit serious, if you want a smooth life, it is best to stick to treatment, don't give up halfway – what is your opinion?"

Caught off guard by the opponent holding his claw, the fire dragon's huge head shyly shook twice and a strong wind suddenly blew.

Sitting on the lab table, Eli put his arms out quickly. His whole body almost hung off of the lab table, but he still held the row of reagents steadily, "Shrimp, I suggest that you tell him not to move – In fact, he was not this big when he jumped in earlier. Meeting again, to be honest, I was also shocked by the changes of his body shape that happened within a day…"

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry – I thought you kidnapped my son so I changed my body shape to cause you trouble…" The fire dragon turned around politely, and following Shang Haojia's example, he wanted to shake hands with Eli, who was lying on the lab table, however, he didn't expect that his two claws were too short. Trying his best to stretch his arm out, he still couldn't reach the opponent's hand, so he could only tiptoe and gently pat his head twice.

Suddenly having a friendly dragon claw pat his head, Eli was still protecting the reagent bottles in an awe-inspiring posture. Having to hold on to the lab table with one hand to ensure that he would not fall off, he couldn't laugh or cry at his old classmate who was actually just watching the show, and made a plea for help.

Shang Haojia nodded thoughtfully. Moving the instruments and reagent bottles in his hand to a safe place, he lightly leaned against the table and patted the fire dragon on the shoulder, "Mr. Xian Gris, could you please change back into your original size first? You can see it too, my friends have almost no place to stand."

"Of course!" The fire dragon nodded repeatedly and tried to use its paws to reach the top of its head, wanting to take the little dragon down. Unfortunately, no matter how hard he tried, it was obvious that they were still a long way away, "Bao'er, take Bei'er to the side first, Dad is going to change back."

The little golden dragon on his head seemed to like this game very much. He triumphantly flew several circles around his body before diving down and landing near his brother, who was hiding under his father's tail. He then comfortingly wrapped around him and rubbed him, "Bei'er, don't cry – Is that human bullying you? Brother will help you bite him!"

As he spoke, he rushed forward fiercely and bit Shang Haojia's trousers.

"..." Seeing the little golden dragon fiercely tugging at his trousers, Doctor Shang looked at the guardian dragon who had just shrunk to his normal size with a complicated mood, and patted his wings, "Mr. Xian Gris, may I ask – did you give your eldest son the serum you grabbed earlier?"

"Sorry, sorry, at that time I did – I don't know how to use your Chinese to describe it accurately, probably, anger starts in my heart, evil grows in the gut…" Hearing him mention the matter of grabbing the serum, the fire dragon bowed guiltily and his sharp wings brought a strong wind.

As soon as he saw that the wind was about to knock Eli, who was doing preparatory activities, directly off the table, the werewolf on the side rushed forward quickly and pulled him to the ground.

The fire dragon obviously hasn't realised the series of chaos he had caused, as he was still bending over apologetically. Ashamed, he wanted to cover his face with his two small paws, but he could barely cover his chest, "In fact, we dragons, regardless of species, all rely on blood to draw strength and complete our evolution. When passing by here, I was suddenly attracted by the atmosphere filled with liveliness, bravery, and the rich spirit of exploration, so I couldn't help but go astray for a moment, A' Lin has already severely scolded me…"

    1. Poor Bei'er definitely needs it more than Bao'er, I wonder why the dad made that choice.
