Yu Tiantian hurriedly grabbed a cloth to clean up the mess.

"According to Bai Xiaoting's confession, Liu Le repeatedly filmed videos of the dormitory and women's showers and uploaded them to adult websites for profit," Gu Yanta replied. "So the relationships in their dormitory were actually really bad, and Liu Le's so-called crush on Ouyang Xue is nothing but nonsense."

"No way..." Yu Tiantian was still shocked. "Although I haven't known Liu Le for long, she does seem a bit spoiled and selfish, but she shouldn't do such a thing. And considering her family background, it doesn't seem like she'd need to do it for money..."

"Yes, Boss!"

"Liu Le's accounts show no unusual income!" Chen Chen quickly entered Liu Le's information into the computer and, within moments, traced her accounts and IP address. "Her browsing history and spending records are completely normal. If it were the kind of situation you mentioned, I'd be able to tell at a glance!"

"Damn it! That Bai Xiaoting, there's not a single honest word from her mouth!" Gu Yanta couldn't help but curse.

"But those videos she had were real," Lu Zheng hesitated. "It seems we'll have to make a trip to the agricultural university."

"It's already this late, can we make it in time today?" Gu Yanta glanced at the clock. It was past five p.m. "Won't they already be off work?"

"I have a university classmate who's a deputy director in the student affairs office at the agricultural university," Lu Zheng pulled out his phone and scrolled through his contacts. "I'll give him a call and ask him to wait for us."

Lu Zheng dialled his old classmate. The deputy director, Wu Yong, was very cooperative and agreed to wait for them to arrive before finishing for the day.

"I know a bit about this matter, I'll check the records from back then," Wu Yong said over the phone.

"Alright, thanks, see you later." Lu Zheng hung up and looked at Gu Yanta, who was still shovelling food into his mouth. "Let's go. Eat on the way, I'll drive."

"No, no, I'm almost done!" Gu Yanta quickly stuffed the remaining bites into his mouth and mumbled, "You have a rest on the way, I'll drive. You don't sleep well, unlike me, I can sleep the moment I lie down."

Chen Chen and Yu Tiantian, watching from the side, felt a wave of goosebumps. "Oh my god, that's disgustingly sweet..."

Yuchuan Agricultural University was located in the Xiazhou District of Yuchuan City. Although it didn't have the century-long legacy of Yuchuan University, it was still a respectable, specialised institution. Gu Yanta followed Lu Zheng to the agricultural university's student affairs office. The four-story building dates back to the Republic of China period, exuding elegant and simple charm. Its weathered brick-red exterior walls were covered in lush green maidenhair vine, which swayed gently in the breeze, creating ripples of movement.

The deputy director of the student affairs office, Wu Yong, was not tall. He was dressed in a well-tailored shirt and trousers, looking fair-skinned and refined. He wore a pair of gold-rimmed glasses on his nose, and at first glance, he bore a slight resemblance to Chen Chen. He politely invited Gu Yanta and Lu Zheng into his office.

"Old classmate, long time no see. You've barely kept in touch with us all these years after graduating, you don't even show up for reunions! We all thought you went off to make a fortune somewhere, but it turns out you're busy solving cases all day!" Wu Yong's face lit up with a smile as he poured tea for the two. "Come, sit down, don't be polite! This is the best Xueshan Maojian tea, give it a try! Our director is away abroad for further studies, so I'm in charge here for now, let me know if there's anything you need!"

There was a teasing undertone to his words. You see, back in university, Lu Zheng had been quite popular, with a good family background, stellar grades, and of course, most importantly, his striking looks. Back then, countless female students had gone to great lengths just to catch a glimpse of him. Who would have guessed back then that he'd turn out to be gay?

Since graduating from university, it has been six or seven years. The influential figures from their school days had all carved out notable paths by now, some had become successful entrepreneurs, while others had risen to prominent positions in government. Wu Yong himself had become the deputy director of the student affairs office. He had heard that Lu Zheng had continued his studies for years, and expected him to become someone remarkable after graduation. "The matter I asked of you earlier..." Lu Zheng finally spoke.

Though Wu Yong harboured some internal resentment towards Lu Zheng, it was just a man's pride, and he was still more than willing to help with the request.

"Right, right, look at my brain. After you mentioned it over the phone, I went through the records carefully, there really are some oddities in this matter..."
