The news anchor on the television stood with her back to the truck at the crime scene, just a short distance away. Holding a professional microphone, she was vividly describing everything to the camera.

Du Yusheng picked up a piece of pre-sliced fruit from the table and popped it into his mouth, then switched the channel with an expressionless face.

Seated on the opposite side of the sofa, He Shen glanced at him and rolled his eyes, "Master Du, this... is quite a spectacle... what do you intend to do?"

Du Yusheng scratched his face. In He Shen's eyes, this guy looked like he was deliberately asking for a slap.

He Shen nodded slightly. "You're hiding out in my apartment, I need to know whether I'm harbouring a murderer."

Du Yusheng smiled faintly. "When I gave the tip-off, I did tell the reporter that Wang Zhe had died in that truck, I didn't expect them to run with it without verifying anything."

Saying that, Du Yusheng snatched the grapes back and stuffed one into his mouth, his cheeks puffing slightly as he pushed it to one side and laughed,  "Actually, if you think about it, it's kind of funny. Xiao Bai and the others arrived at the scene only to find that there was no sign of Wang Zhe's corpse, just like the reporter claimed. They must be wondering right now, where the hell did the body go?"

He Shen only half-understood what Du Yusheng was saying, but he more or less grasped one thing, Du Yusheng wasn't a murderer.

At least not right now.
