Bai Yutang didn't understand what Zhan Zhao wanted him to see but still glanced over. Then he turned back, puzzled, and asked, "What's up?"

Covering his mouth, Zhan Zhao whispered, "She isn't Su Feifei!"

Bai Yutang thought for a moment and mouthed – Shen Yan?

Zhan Zhao nodded vigorously – Mhmm!

Next to them, Bai Ye was holding Zhao Jue by the collar. Zhao Jue was staring at Su Feifei, shifting his feet like a cat ready to pounce.

Bai Yutang and Zhan Zhao looked at Zhao Jue and Bai Ye in confusion – What were they doing?

Bai Ye signalled Zhan Zhao to talk to Shen Yan, suspecting there must be a reason she appeared and didn't leave, while Zhao Jue shouldn't go over for now.

Zhan Zhao thought Bai Ye's arrangement was reasonable and nodded at him – Don't let go once you grab him!

Zhan Zhao entered the neighbouring room, while Bai Yutang, seeing Zhao Jue looking extremely anxious, went over to help block the door.

Inside the room, Hao Ling was treating Su Feifei's abrasions. Since it wasn't cold, Su Feifei wore little clothing, revealing large areas of abrasions on her arms and legs. Her manager was so distressed that they were crying silently.

Hao Ling noticed a particularly severe injury on her knee. While disinfecting it, Su Feifei didn't move at all, as if she didn't feel any pain.

Hao Ling frowned slightly and asked her, "Does it hurt?"

Su Feifei didn't move, raising her head to tell her manager, "I want some juice."

Zhan Zhao and Zhao Jue exchanged glances and asked in unison, "Do you have a manager?"

Bai Yutang and Bai Ye, at the door, exchanged puzzled looks – this was getting harder to understand.

"Tsk." Su Feifei, sounding impatient, said, "She will only come out after all the wounds are treated and she has her juice. Right now, she's too scared, so I have to come out."

Hao Ling, holding the disinfectant cotton, realised that the voice coming from Su Feifei sounded almost like a boy's – This was a genuine case of split personality, right?!

Mia, holding her little sea lion, curiously observed Su Feifei.

Su Feifei noticed her and made a few gestures towards her.

Zhan Zhao and Zhao Jue tilted their heads.

Su Feifei's gestures meant – Thank you for earlier, what's your name? How old are you?

Zhao Jue squinted his eyes.

Zhan Zhao also thought – Er... Why was it a little cute?

Mia responded with gestures.

Su Feifei chatted with Mia, appearing very friendly and even praised Mia for being cute...

"Brat!" Zhao Jue pinched Su Feifei's ear.

Su Feifei, holding her now red and swollen ear, glared at Zhao Jue.

"What's your name?" Zhan Zhao pulled Zhao Jue away and asked Su Feifei.

"Fan."

"Fan?" Zhan Zhao was curious, "As in 'have a meal'?" (Angel: the 饭 from 吃饭, the 'fan' from 'chifan'.)

"Mhmm." Su Feifei nodded.

"Were you created to handle pain?" Zhan Zhao asked.

Fan shook his head, "The one who handles pain is Mi, I'm in charge of violence."

Zhan Zhao and Zhao Jue were both amused, this personality's name was too casual, to actually be called Mi. (Angel: 米, mi, is the word for rice.)

"How many of you are there?" Zhao Jue asked. "Who is the main personality? Su Feifei or Shen Yan?"

Mi didn't answer, but stared at Zhao Jue for a while and then said meaningfully, "The same flavour."

Zhan Zhao didn't understand and looked at Zhao Jue – What flavour?

But Zhao Jue's face showed a knowing expression, "So that's how it is."

Zhan Zhao looked at Zhao Jue in confusion – What do you mean? What did I miss?

At this moment, Su Feifei's manager returned with a can of pomegranate juice.

Mi glanced at the manager at the door, looking somewhat helpless, and said to Zhan Zhao and Zhao Jue, "The manager is Auntie, you can talk to her."

"Feifei, here you go." The manager handed her the juice.

Zhan Zhao and Zhao Jue frowned, realising that Su Feifei's split personalities might switch according to different situations, and no one noticed because there was a very "smart" manager.

Hao Ling had finished bandaging Su Feifei and left, taking the manager with her to get some anti-inflammatory medication.

Zhan Zhao and Zhao Jue continued to question the personality in front of them.

In cases of dissociative identity disorder, when the number of personalities reaches a certain amount, a manager usually emerges.

This manager would arrange for specific personalities to appear based on different situations and communicate between them by passing on information.

The "manager" in front of them seemed like a mature woman, quite charming, judging by her demeanour.

"Are you... Auntie?" Zhan Zhao asked.

Su Feifei smiled, crossing her legs while holding the juice, "Only cute little Mi calls me Auntie. I am Su Yun, Feifei's sister."

"Who gave Xu Lie the child?" Zhan Zhao continued, "Is the child related to Su Feifei or Shen Yan?"

Su Yun stared at Zhan Zhao for a moment, then laughed, "Do you still have time to deal with this? Things outside are about to get chaotic!"

"What do you mean?" Bai Yutang asked this time.

Su Yun finished the drink and smiled at Zhan Zhao and Zhao Jue, "Protect this child!"

After saying this, she went silent again.

A moment later, Su Feifei started crying out, "Ouch... it hurts, it hurts..."

She raised her bandaged hands and looked down at her legs, grimacing, "Will it leave a scar... it hurts so much!"

Mia reached out to pat her head, offering comfort.
