S.C.I Mystery Series Volume 4 Chapter 12
A few cars stopped in front of one of the most famous private schools in T City.
Because most of the cars picking up and dropping off students in front of the school were very nice cars, the low-key arrival of the crowd did not attract anyone's attention.
This time there was an army of students - Zhan Zhao, Bai Yutang and Bai Chi. And an army of teachers - Gongsun, Ma Han and Zhao Hu. They all entered the school together and quietly made their way to where Zhao Jue was, the headmaster's office.
Inside the office, there was a technician brought by Zhao Jue, who was responsible for technical issues such as controlling the cameras and contacting Jiang Ping. The technical control room was well hidden, in a cubicle.
Inside the office, both Zhao Jue and Bai Jintang were present.
The twins were holding two bottles of red wine and talking to Bai Jintang about something. When they saw the crowd enter, the two smiled and put the red wine into a luxurious wooden box.
Zhan Zhao took a look at the red wine and knew that Bai Jintang had recently gotten a winery and had gotten into the red wine business while it was hot… He probably made a lot of money again, and knowing that Gongsun liked red wine, he had brought two bottles of good ones back for him.
Zhan Zhao quietly glanced at the auction label taken off by Xiao Ding and scowled - everything is a floating cloud, his brother is a money printing machine, the kind of diamond king in a girl's comic that burns money for their own sake!
Zhan Zhao shook his head and returned to his senses... At the other side, Zhao Jue had already finished all the undercover arrangements for this time, and he hadn't heard a word of it.
"Have you understood everything?" Zhao Jue put away his book, handed out new identity documents and student ID cards and whatnot to the crowd, and asked, "Raise your hand if you have questions."
Zhan Zhao silently raised his hand.
"Say it!" Zhao Jue glanced at him, thinking that he was going to say something difficult again.
After staring at him for half a day, Zhan Zhao said, "Say it again, I just ignored you."
Zhao Jue was silent for a long time before picking up a teaching whip on the table, "I want to physically punish students!"
......
After fussing around the office for a while, the crowd finally explained everything clearly and the plan was set.
The arrangements were as follows:
Zhan Zhao, Bai Yutang and Bai Chi are transfer students. Because the university is not divided into very clear departments and faculties, and there are no homerooms, only the necessary elective courses and optional minor courses. The total credits are counted at the end of the academic year, and the studies are relatively easy, so Zhan Zhao and the others can avoid the embarrassment of having to meet new students. The dormitory building is also not a group residence in the ordinary sense; the students here are basically all drop-ins.
Ma Han is the instructor for the shooting class, Zhao Hu is the PE teacher, Gongsun is the doctor at the school hospital, and the twins are... nurses.
Xiao Ding teased Zhan Zhao with his nurse uniform, "Does it look good?"
Zhan Zhao scowled, "Pervert!"
The twins were struck by the blow, grasping at Gongsun, "Sister-in-law!"
Gongsun gave them both a blank look and raised his hand, "Go on duty, call me if anything happens."
"What about you?" The twins looked at Gongsun in confusion.
Gongsun was holding his wine and was ready to have a drink with Bai Jintang in the luxury private room next door
Bai Jintang put one arm around Gongsun's shoulders and raised an eyebrow at the twins, "Don't bother us if there's nothing wrong."
The corners of the twins' mouths twitched as they followed them next door and found that Bai Jintang had actually prepared a luxury lounge next to the school office.
Da Ding shook his head, "What the hell is Big Brother thinking?"
Xiao Ding bristled, "Thinking about Gongsun, what else could he be thinking about? He thinks about Gongsun every day and counts money on the side."
The twins left while they muttered, and Gongsun was abducted by Bai Jintang with a bottle of good wine. In the room, Bai Chi was holding a book and reading the curriculum, while Zhao Zhen was bored and twisting a Rubik's cube at a divine speed. He was depressed because he was so famous and everyone knew him, so he had to work behind the scenes and didn't get to accompany his family's Chi Chi to experience campus life.
"The major subjects look similar to a normal university, but why would a university have a shooting class?" Bai Yutang wondered.
"Shooting is a minor course." Ma Han flipped through it, "A significant portion of the minors are pretty exaggerated."
"Yeah, combat, criminal investigation, and a lot of investigation courses involving commercial crime." Zhao Hu flipped through the pages, "What type of school is this? Is it a police academy?"
"If it's anything like those few students who ran off into the wild the other night, then it's normal to learn such skills." Zhan Zhao closed the information, "Speaking of which, being a good person still requires the ability to defend oneself in the first place."
"Is there someone to suspect?" Bai Yutang asked Zhao Jue.
"There is." Zhao Jue opened the student registry and smiled, "There are a few little sisters who are cute!"
The crowd all blanked him.
Zhao Jue stifled a laugh, "Because the people who have actually seen the ghost have already died, I don't know what she really looks like, saying that she is a girl with a nice young body is just a rumour." With that, he clapped his hands, "Alright, alright, students take your places and go to class, mingle well with the other students, and don't forget to investigate those teachers." Zhao Jue whisked the crowd out of the office.
Zhan Zhao was still a bit suspicious and wanted to ask what Zhao Jue was going to do afterwards, but Bai Yutang tugged at him, "Let's go, let's just walk around and have a look."
Bai Chi followed behind with his book in his hand, while flipping through the curriculum, "Ah, Brother, there's a criminal psychology class!"
"Really?” Zhan Zhao was surprised. It’s such a university. It’s normal for a university like this to have a psychology major, but to have a criminal psychology major or a minor... it's a bit odd.
"Major and minor?"
"Criminal psychology is a minor, but psychology is the major." Bai Chi said, looking at the faculty list, "Yikes!"
Both Zhan Zhao and Bai Yutang looked back at him.
"Brother, look at the names of the teachers!" Bai Chi offered up the list of faculty members to Zhan Zhao like a treasure. Zhan Zhao frowned and glanced at it, only to see that the name written on the top was - Psychology, Head Lecturer of Criminal Psychology, Zhan Zhao.
Zhan Zhao's mouth opened wide, "That guy Zhao Jue..."
"He originally intended for you to be the professor, could it be that he forgot to change the candidate?" Bai Yutang consoled, "When the time comes, just say that the name is typed wrong."
Zhan Zhao frowned, having a bad feeling.
The two of them walked along the main road of the campus, not far from the cafeteria. It was now after eight in the morning and most of the students who had no first period classes had just woken up and ran to the cafeteria for breakfast.
Bai Yutang and the others entered the cafeteria, not so much to eat, but because the cafeteria was usually the place with the most gossip.
The three of them entered the cafeteria and found a place to sit down. Bai Yutang went to get a cup of soy milk or something for the two of them, so that it would be easier to avoid suspicion.
Zhan Zhao sat down and held his chin in one hand as he looked at Bai Chi who was flipping through the materials at an inhuman speed, "Chi Chi, how are you getting on with the materials?"
"I still have a little bit to go before I'm done." Bai Chi spoke to Zhan Zhao as he flipped through the pages, "Psychology is all about deception, deceiving people and preventing them from being deceived. The main courses here are about finance, a bit like business school."
Zhan Zhao held his chin, "Tsk, that's what these courses are, after learning them, apart from preventing being cheated, it's easy to cheat people."
"Business schools usually use a bunch of courses to teach you how to sell something that costs a dollar for a thousand dollars." Bai Chi finished reading the last page and put it down.
At that moment, there was a click from the table next to them.
Zhan Zhao and Bai Chi turned around at the same time and saw two girls eating their breakfast and taking pictures of the two of them with their cell phones.
Bai Chi and Zhan Zhao froze, and then it popped into their heads - we need to get along! So both picked up the corners of their mouths and smiled.
These two, one handsome and one cute, the two girls looked at each other - they definitely weren't from this school! Because they had never seen them before. Moving closer, the very pretty girl sitting next to Bai Chi asked, "Classmate, are you from another school?"
"We're transfer students." Bai Chi said, "We've just arrived."
"Really?" The girl was excited, "So what year are you guys in?"
Bai Chi and Zhan Zhao replied, "Sophomores."
"So are we!" The girl was excited, “You guys aren't from around here, right?"
Zhan Zhao shook his head, "No, I just came back from abroad."
"Oh, do you have class after this?" The girl looked excited, "Most of the students here aren't local, I've just come back from abroad too."
“We do." Zhan Zhao nodded, and Bai Chi looked at the subject - it was none other than criminal psychology, which Zhan Zhao was teaching.
"Have you heard? The lecturer this time is a psychology expert, Zhan Zhao!" The girl looked starry-eyed, "That's great! I heard he's the most powerful psychology authority at the moment. He’s also very young and handsome, but he's too low-profile, he doesn't even have a picture."
The corners of Zhan Zhao's mouth twitched - unexpectedly, she knew about him.
Bai Chi was also surprised – was Brother very famous?
"My name is Liu Meng, I’m the vice president of the student council." The girl looked lively and generous, "Do you want to have a welcome party? I'll introduce you to my classmates."
Their main task now is to infiltrate the student body and find suspicious 'ghosts', so of course they need a few well-connected 'informants', so they nodded graciously, "Sure, we also have one more person…"
"Hey!"
At that moment, a very aggressive voice came, "What are you talking to my sister for, brat? Get out of the way!"
Zhan Zhao and Bai Chi were slightly stunned to hear the voice that seemed to be right next to them. When they looked up, they saw a tall boy standing to their left. The boy had black hair that seemed to be tough and fanned out like a hedgehog, and was standing behind Zhan Zhao with his hands in his pockets, looking him up and down.
Zhan Zhao looked at Liu Meng in confusion.
Liu Meng gave the boy a blank look, "Why are you being mean? Even if Chen Lu is talking to someone, you have to interfere!"
Zhan Zhao followed their line of sight and glanced at the girl sitting opposite Liu Meng. Chen Lu was probably referring to her, was she this boy's sister?
Chen Lu had indeed been quite enthusiastic since a while ago, but spoke much less than Liu Meng, and was clearly more introverted.
“Brother," She waved at the boy, “these two are transfer students, we just met them."
"Just met and you're so chummy, huh?" The boy scowled, his personality seemed very bad, and he glanced at Liu Meng, "Seeing a good-looking boy is like chicken blood." (Angel: chicken blood is used to satirise a person's sudden emotional excitement about a specific thing or person.)
"What did you say?!" Liu Meng glared.
Zhan Zhao held his chin in one hand and gave the boy a slightly interested look, "People who are not very frank or confident are usually jealous and very sensitive, and also very unwise, the more they want to please the easier it is to offend."
The crowd was stunned, and the boy's face changed colour.
Zhan Zhao laughed, "Not letting your sister talk to strangers is just an excuse, you don't want your sister's friends to talk to strangers, do you?"
The boy instantly blushed.
Liu Meng blinked and locked eyes with Chen Lu.
Bai Chi nodded, "Oh... you like her, huh?"
The boy, despite his arrogant personality, was quite innocent, and in an instant his face was bright red as he roared, "Are you tired of living?!"
At the same time, a few people approached from not far away. They were all boys and stood next to the male figure, "Chen Xi, what's up?"
"Someone looking for trouble with you?"
Zhan Zhao looked at the group, and the boy named Chen Xi seemed to have some charisma.
"You're the new kid here, huh?" Chen Xi smiled and warned Zhan Zhao, "If you don't know the rules, you'd better behave yourself."
"What do you mean by behave yourself?" Zhan Zhao was also an interesting character, he liked to see people get angry. The more he teased people who could not be teased and who would get angry and take it seriously, the more he wanted to tease them. So a smirk appeared on his face, "Who made the rules?"
"I am the president of the student council, naturally I make the rules. If you want to hang around here, be straightforward with me." Chen Xi said, tugging Chen Lu, "Let's go."
Chen Lu glared at him, "Brother, why are you being so barbaric."
Chen Xi saw many people gathered around and yelled, "What are you looking at?! Get lost!"
Many people at the school seemed to be afraid of him and turned to flee.
Zhan Zhao picked up the corner of his mouth... This person should be the best person to investigate the other students in the school, so he smiled provocatively, "Rules and all that, change them. From now on, what you say doesn't count."
"What do you mean?" Everyone looked at Zhan Zhao in amusement, thinking that this transfer student must not know that the sky is high and the earth is thick.
Zhan Zhao showed a bad boy smile, "You're just the student council president, I'm a relative of the headmaster, and the brother of the director. My background is stronger than yours, so what are you going to do? This is a private school, not a public one, I can have you expelled with one phone call, do you want to try?" And with that, he looked at the crowd behind them, "That includes all of you."
Everyone in the crowd froze instantly.
"You... are bluffing!" Chen Xi's anger apparently weakened by a few points.
Zhan Zhao felt that being a bad student was also quite entertaining, so his bad nature rose a few more points and he took out his phone, "Want to try it?"
As he said that, he asked the students behind Chen Xi, "By the way, your names, do you want to report them too? For the sake of your president, it is necessary to share the pain and suffering. But compensation or something shouldn't be needed, your families shouldn't be short of money."
The boys obviously hesitated, then looked at each other and reached out to give Chen Xi a gentle tug, which meant, "Hey, forget it."
Chen Xi frowned as Zhan Zhao shut off his phone, "Tsk, this is what you call the solidity of a small group, as soon as someone with more authority than you appears, it immediately falls apart." Saying that, he reached out and waved a psychology textbook in his hand, "Don't go to any private aristocratic schools, no matter how much you read about psychology, you won't make real friends."
Liu Meng clapped her hands, "Handsome!"
Chen Xi couldn't face it and raised his hand, "You're looking for death."
Unfortunately, his fist didn't land, but was grabbed by someone behind him. As he turned around, a can of soy milk appeared in front of him, shaking, and someone asked, "Want a drink to cool down?"
Chen Xi struggled twice but could not pull his hand out. Surprised, he looked at the person behind him... He was just casually holding his arm, but his hand felt like it was fixed.
The can of soy milk was moved away and delivered to Zhan Zhao and Bai Chi. What appeared before Chen Xi's eyes was a man about the same height as himself, but obviously much more handsome, dressed in white.
Zhan Zhao held his chin and sighed, sure enough... the sound of gasping was heard all around. He grabbed a straw to drink soy milk. Bai Yutang was super lethal on campus, he didn't know how many people had just bought soy milk.
Bai Yutang went to Zhan Zhao's side, his long legs gently stretched across from behind the chair to directly sit down... Zhan Zhao suddenly had endless nostalgia, as this was a habitual action from when Bai Yutang was studying. The reason for this was that basically every time Zhan Zhao was reading a book in the cafeteria, Bai Yutang would come back with two dinner plates and would not have a hand to pull the back of the chair, so he would just step over it, showing his long legs and good body in the process...
"Who are you?" Chen Xi rubbed his arm, feeling a vague soreness.
Bai Yutang raised his eyebrows slightly, "Transfer students."
And so, before class started, word spread around the school - three super handsome transfer students had arrived today.
And the students who took outdoor classes followed suit – a super cool shooting instructor and a super cute PE teacher had arrived.
But the most widespread rumour among the teachers was - the new headmaster was handsome!
Zhan Zhao, Bai Yutang and Bai Chi entered the classroom and took their seats, ready for their first class, along with the legendary psychologist Zhan Zhao.
Bai Chi had already finished reading the department's textbooks, "I wonder who they'll get to teach the course, huh?"
Zhan Zhao lacked interest flipping through the textbook, his right eyelid kept jumping, and he reached out to hold it down. Suddenly... he heard a commotion among the students.
Zhan Zhao looked up and saw that from the classroom door, Zhao Jue, holding a textbook with one hand and had the other in his pocket, elegantly walked in. He leaned towards the front of the podium, placed the book lightly and leisurely spoke with his characteristic lazy accent, "I am Zhan Zhao."
.....
"Yaaaah!" After a moment of silence, the girls screamed a lot and the boys felt dumbfounded.
Bai Yutang pressed Zhan Zhao, who was already about to storm off, and advised him, "Cat, calm down!"
