Mad Doctor Murderer 18 – The Target is the Forensic Pathologist

The SCI team brought the giant to the interrogation room, causing a crowd of police officers downstairs.

He was handcuffed and shackled, but it didn't feel very secure. Despite this, the big man did not resist.

Gongsun and Ma Xin were excitedly holding up a photograph of him, using the stitches on the body to match the scars on his body, and 'enthusiastically discussing' whether they were the work of the same person, when he was tapped on the shoulder.

Ma Xin dutifully slipped away, allowing Bai Jintang to capture Gongsun and to take him away.

Gongsun was depressed, he wanted to study that stitching again! But... Jintang was more important. He decided to soften the blow during dinner and let him come back to study it again. By then, he guessed that Zhan Zhao's hypnosis would be over, and it would be ideal to ask for the identity of the doctor who operated on him.

When they reached the lower floor of the police station, Gongsun met Old Yang.

"Ai, Gongsun, do you have a moment?" Old Yang greeted Gongsun as he wiped his old-fashioned glasses.

"Oh, I'm going to eat now." Gongsun looked at Bai Jintang.

Bai Jintang naturally wouldn't interfere with his work. Old Yang was an old forensic scientist from the police station, and Gongsun had worked with him for a while when he was a trainee, so they had a good relationship. Bai Jintang had even given him red wine.

He let Gongsun chat with Old Yang while he went to his car.

“Ai, that corpse last time, I found some clues." Old Yang said hurriedly, "The information is in my office."

"Hey, are we leaving?" Gongsun patted him, but he saw Bai Jintang frowning slightly and pulling Gongsun back a step.

"What's wrong?" Gongsun wondered.

"Don't you think the car is uneven?" Bai Jintang looked at the roof of the car.

When he pointed it out to him, Gongsun also noticed that the car seemed to be leaning to one side, so he knelt down and looked at it, “Aiya, a flat tire!"

Bai Jintang thought in his heart, 'No way, it was fine when I drove here.'

After squatting down and looking at the tires, Bai Jintang's eyebrows furrowed, "Two of them have been punctured."

Gongsun's eyes widened as he looked around, "Is this a prank or is someone deliberately trying to trouble you?"

Bai Jintang shrugged, squinting at the CCTV camera at the entrance of the police station while pulling out the phone to get Da Ding and Xiao Ding to help tow the car and drive another one over.

Gongsun tugged on Bai Jintang, "We're just waiting anyway, why don't we go upstairs first?"

Bai Jintang looked at him with a raised eyebrow, "Did you ask someone to poke holes in it?"

"I'm not that boring!" Gongsun hurried to clear the air! He denied it firmly.

Bai Jintang sighed helplessly. Gongsun's soul had been taken away by that corpse and that strange man, there was no point in dragging him to dinner at this time. Remembering that Bai Yutang and the others hadn't eaten yet, Bai Jintang simply asked the twins to bring takeaway for the whole SCI team.

When Gongsun saw that Bai Jintang nodded, he smiled and was going back. As soon as he turned around, Bai Jintang saw a red dot creeping up the back of Gongsun's head, his heart fluttered and he pounced on him.

“Aiya..." Gongsun was caught off guard as Bai Jintang pulled him and rushed straight out.

In the hustle and bustle, Gongsun's glasses fell to the ground and he fell too. Before he could figure out what was going on, Bai Jintang grabbed him and pulled him into the lobby of the police station and found a secluded place to hide.

Several police officers on duty at the entrance of the police station stood up to have a look. Bai Jintang made a gesture to them to make a phone call, and the officers rushed to dial the number for SCI.

Gongsun's glasses fell off so he couldn't see too clearly. Squinting, he saw Bai Jintang beside him with one hand covering his arm, blood seeping out from his fingers.

"Jintang, what's wrong with you?" Gongsun released Bai Jintang's hand and saw that there were scrapes on his arm.

Bai Jintang gestured with his chin for him to look at a hole on the floor by the doorway, "It's nothing, it's just a graze, the bullet is over there."

Gongsun froze for a long time and looked back at him intently, "What have you gotten yourself into again?"

Bai Jintang laughed and looked at Gongsun, "I should be asking you, this time it was obviously aimed at you..."

Before he could finish his sentence, they heard a 'bang'.

In an instant, the glass shattered and fell in bits and pieces, the horns of the cars parked in front of the police station rang out, and pedestrians screamed.

The two men rushed to the elevator and went upstairs.

When Zhan Zhao looked at the big man in the interrogation room, he saw that he was still sitting there with an expressionless face, as if the gunshot just now hadn't aroused his thoughts.

Bai Yutang walked over and asked Zhan Zhao if he wanted to continue the interrogation. The elevator doors opened and Zhao Hu came running up, "Head! Forensic Pathologist Yang has been shot too!"

Bai Jintang also pulled Gongsun to sit down, "It is indeed not safe..."

As he was saying this, there was a 'ding’ and the elevator doors opened.

"Takeout has arrived~" The twins walked in carrying two large bags of western food, cheerfully carrying a tune. Once inside, however, they saw the crowd downcast and the SCI office blacked out. The lights in the room were off and the curtains were closed, and the unbeatable night view was not even visible. The two looked at each other. Finally… their eyes fell on the gauze wrapped around Bai Jintang's arm.

"Why would your brother use this kind of bullet?" Bai Yutang asked him as he held up the bullet, "It doesn't look like something used for self-defence."

Lan Xi was silent for a moment, "Brother has used it to kill people."
