S.C.I. Character Guide

This page is here to help you keep track of the main characters as well as the recurring characters that occasionally stop by.

I won't add case-specific characters to this post as that could be a spoiler to people who haven't read all of the chapters yet. If you want me to create case-specific character posts, I would be happy to create a separate post for them.

I'll start with a detailed overview of the six main characters and I will end the post with a table of all of the important characters.

Main Couple

Bai Yutang

• Captain of S.C.I.
• A smart and experienced police officer who is VERY good at his job
• Used to be a fighter pilot
• Always wears white
• Has OCD; always wants to be clean, hence the white clothes
• Called 'Xiao Bai' or 'Mouse' by Zhan Zhao
• A great cook; Zhan Zhao's personal chef
• Called 'Bai Sir' by his team

Zhan Zhao

(Angel: My favourite ʚ♡⃛ɞ(ू•ᴗ•ू❁) He's my little baby; nobody can hurt him)

• Deputy team leader of S.C.I. (second in command)
• S.C.I.’s resident criminal psychologist
• Teaches part-time as it is his hobby, also writes novels
• Very smart; IQ of 170 (if I remember correctly)
• Not cut out for physical tasks; can't fight, not good with a gun
• Described in the drama as having to physical combat skills or self-care ability; he relies on Bai Yutang
• Always wears black or a dark blue
• Called 'Cat' by Bai Yutang
• Called 'Dr. Zhan' by his team as well as by others he meets

• President of the Bai Group
• Has a history with Zhao Jue
• His memories from his childhood are locked away due to his history

Gongsun Ce

• Forensic medical examiner for S.C.I.
• Loves wine
• Does some quirky things
• He loves his examination room

Zhao Zhen

• World renowned magician
• Zhao Jue's nephew
• Owner of Lisbon, a male African white lion
• Occasionally assists S.C.I.
• Knew Bai Chi when they were younger but he moved away
• He used magic to play a joke on Bai Chi when they were young that scarred Bai Chi
• Even though he didn't remember Bai Chi right away, he took a liking to him almost immediately

Bai Chi

• Bai Yutang and Bai Jintang's cousin
• He was a regular cop before joining S.C.I.
• After always being compared to Bai Yutang, Bai Chi was not very confident in his ability to be a cop
• Zhan Zhao was the first to discover that he is actually extremely smart
• Bai Chi developed a stutter when he was younger due to the joke that Zhao Zhen played on him
• Bai Chi ordinally didn't like Zhao Zhen due to their history, but he slowly warmed up to him
