Then he looked down at the plot description on the disc – only to find that it didn't match up!

The plot synopsis of 《Mad Doctor Town》 says that a crazy doctor arrives in a small town, uses all the people in the town for medical experiments, and later triggers a large disease outbreak that turns the entire town into monsters that kill people everywhere. There are some post-apocalyptic moody horror movies like 《The Walking Dead》, 《28 Days Later》, and the like. But the disc taken out of the box just now was clearly a tender story about a couple walking into a deserted forest, getting lost there, trying to get out and find their way home, only to end in tragedy.

"Chi Chi, are you finished?"

At that moment, the door was pushed open and Zhan Zhao walked in.

Bai Chi had been suffering from a toothache for a few days, which turned out to be a wisdom tooth. It was so painful that he couldn't even eat, and his face had swollen up to a large size. Yang Fan checked him out and said it was time to get it extracted.

He was originally planning to go to the dentist, but a while ago, Zhao Zhen encouraged him to watch a horror film called 《The Dentist's Fright》. The dentist in the film was a psychopathic killer who used a dental drill and a pair of messy tools to dissect people from the inside of their mouths. Fortunately, Yang Fan is licensed as a dentist and borrowed a room in a clinic from a dentist friend to extract the torturous wisdom tooth for Bai Chi.

"Brother, the film is very nice, but it's in the wrong box and I don't know the name." Bai Chi walked outside with the disc and Zhan Zhao, and saw that friend of Yang Fan's, Qiu Yiwen, Dr. Qiu.

"You liked it, huh?" Qiu Yiwen said, "Then I'll give it to you, I don't really like watching this kind of literary films anyway, I prefer watching horror ones." Saying that, she winked at Bai Chi, "Have you seen 'The Dentist's Fright' yet?"

In SCI's office, Ma Xin was hugging a hand warmer and watching Qin Ou dismantle a bomb that had had its explosives removed.

When Zhan Zhao and the others entered, Bai Yutang smiled and asked him, "What's wrong, itchy hands?"

Bai Yutang and the others all looked out and saw three police officers behind Gongsun, pushing in a roller bed with a black body bag on it.

Gongsun and Ma Xin looked at each other and both walked out to see, "What's going on?"

The officers pushed the body into the forensic room and hurriedly exited.

Bao Zheng nodded to them and the men left.

"It's like this." Bao Zheng said to a puzzled Bai Yutang, "Not long ago, a man's body was found in a building behind the medical university. The caretaker reported it to the police and it seems the man was hit by a car or something else, in any case, he died in the parking lot. The body was originally sent to forensic scientist Dr. Yang to prepare for an autopsy, but just after taking off his clothes and taking a look, Dr. Yang said to send it to Gongsun, saying that it was good and that Gongsun would die of joy when he saw it, but SCI will have solved another serial murder case."

The crowd found it amusing that a serial murder case would be solved after a corpse was found. Dr. Yang is getting more and more divine these days.

"I'll go take a look." Gongsun and Ma Xin hurriedly ran to the forensic room, and the others followed curiously to see.

Zhan Zhao tsked, "These two exist in tandem, without facing the apocalypse, there is no need to survive, and the act of survival is only most meaningful in the midst of the apocalypse. The tragedy of the end, on the other hand, satisfies the hopelessness of fatalism, and the three-pronged approach can inflict great torment on a person, so they remember it!"

Bai Chi listened in a cloud of confusion and was about to ask more questions when he heard a shout of surprise from next door.

Zhan Zhao and Bai Chi looked at each other and hurriedly ran out, rushing to the forensic room to take a look inside.

Only to see a male corpse lying on the bed, and the shocking thing was... that the man's body looked as if it had been pieced together and sewn together with rags. "Mother!" Zhao Hu jumped up with a loud voice.

Ma Xin was also so shocked that she took a step backwards. She had been inspecting corpses for so long and it was the first time she had come across such a situation. The key was that the man's eyes actually moved slowly from side to side, as if he was looking at them.

Everyone in SCI went white.

But this time, what made it even more terrifying for everyone was Gongsun.

He was seen still holding the corpse's face, staring at his pair of slowly moving eyes.

"Gongsun?" Bai Yutang walked in, and Zhan Zhao's eyes widened in curiosity, "Is it possible that the corpse is fraudulent? There's no way a corpse in this condition isn't dead, right?"

"His pupils are dilated, there's no way he can see me or be alive. The eyes are open because the eyelids are dipped in some kind of mucus, and the temperature here is cooler than in Old Yang's basement, so the mucus contracted and the eyelids lifted. The eyes are moving because they are filled with mercury, which makes a bearing. As soon as there is a slight deviation in position, the mercury will oscillate like a wave, so the eyeballs will follow.

Zhan Zhao and the others all stared at Gongsun silently.

Gongsun pointed to the dinner knife on the table and said to Ma Xin, "If he suddenly sits up, stick the silver knife into his heart, it happens sometimes, he might not be completely dead."

The crowd all took a step back, and Gongsun smiled, "Fooled you!"

After looking at it for a long time, Gongsun suddenly tilted his face up with a serious expression and asked Bai Yutang, "Can I have the corpse after the case is solved? Would it be okay?!"
