Gongsun leaned back on the sofa while a pot of boiling soup gurgled and steamed. He leaned back against Lisbon's soft fluffy fur, and the little lion was lying beside him, his chin resting on his arm as he looked at what he was holding.

Gongsun was reading a diary he had found at Yang Fan's house, left behind by his grandfather and father, trying to find some hints in it, preferably something that would help Bai Jintang recover his memory.

Bai Jintang sat opposite him, looking at the company information in his hand.

To the side, Yang Fan was giving Luo Yang and Qin Yi snacks, and the two little ones were playing a game.

Chen Yu and old man Chen were watching TV on the sofa behind Bai Jintang and them, just thinking that… the aura was so powerful.

Da Ding and Xiao Ding were busy with something, there were notebooks on the table and the two of them were writing and drawing together.

As Bai Jintang read the information, he looked at Gongsun several times.

Gongsun remained focused on his book and never looked up.

Bai Jintang frowned slightly.

As Gongsun read, he felt the little lion raise his head, and a shadow appeared in front of him.

When he looked up, he saw Bai Jintang standing in front of him, looking down at him.

Gongsun didn't move and met Bai Jintang's gaze.

Bai Jintang lowered his head and placed his hands on the back of the sofa beside Gongsun's ear, locking eyes with him.

Gongsun blinked and continued to stare at him without making a sound.

Bai Jintang narrowed his eyes slightly as Gongsun, diary in hand, slowly reached up to block Bai Jintang and continued to read, ignoring him.

Bai Jintang heard a certain string in his head snap, and he reached out, grabbed the diary, and put it aside.

Gongsun frowned slightly and looked at him.

Bai Jintang locked eyes with him again.

The little lion tilted its face, staring curiously at the two men who were staring at each other.

Bai Jintang and Gongsun stared at each other for a while before Bai Jintang sat down next to Gongsun. As soon as he sat down, he heard a "meow".

Startled, Bai Jintang stood up and looked back, and saw that there seemed to be something under Lisbon's paw. Reaching out, he lifted his paw and mane and saw Luban and Lilia cuddled together. Luban was lying on his back with his white belly fur showing, while Lilia was lying on his chest, and the two cats were licking each other's fur. It was clear that Bai Jintang had just pressed against them, so they stared at Bai Jintang in displeasure.

After a moment of staring at each other, he heard Gongsun give a soft laugh.

Bai Jintang's eyebrows twitched and he put Lisbon's paw back down to cover the two cats.

Gongsun picked up the diary and wanted to continue reading it, but Bai Jintang frowned, reached out, snatched it away, and threw it aside, then reached out, picked Gongsun up, and went upstairs.

Everyone looked at each other in disbelief, wondering what this type of behaviour between those two meant.

Da Ding and Xiao Ding were still working away, apparently used to it.

Yang Fan handed Qin Yi and Luo Yang juice and sat there in a daze as Qin Ou wondered how things were being handled and if they would be in danger.

With a bang, the door to the room closed and Bai Jintang threw Gongsun onto the bed, reaching out to rip off his tie and throw his jacket away before pouncing on him.

However, Gongsun had his hands on the back of his head and he was looking at him with his eyes wide open, not moving.

Bai Jintang gently touched the indentation in the middle of his collarbone with one hand and looked at Gongsun, "Aren't you afraid?"

Gongsun blinked and asked, "Afraid of what?"

"What I will do to you!" Bai Jintang replied.

Gongsun shrugged indifferently, "You used to do it every day, so how could I be afraid?"

Bai Jintang's eyebrows twitched, no wonder he always felt that something was missing, it turned out that he was lacking several days of lovemaking!

After thinking about it, he reached out and held up Gongsun's chin, "Then let’s do it!"

Gongsun raised an eyebrow, "Who are you?"

Bai Jintang ground his teeth, "Who do you think…"

"Do you remember who I am?" Gongsun sneered.

Bai Jintang narrowed his eyes, "I may remember after doing it."

A smirk appeared on Gongsun's face. "According to your logic, there are no female rapists in the world!"

The corners of Bai Jintang's mouth twitched, "Do you usually talk like that?"

Gongsun touched his chin, "I'm more polite to strangers."

"Then it seems that I don't count as a stranger." Bai Jintang narrowed his eyes.

With a smile, Gongsun reached out a finger and gently tapped his nose, "Who are you? I don't recognise you."

Bai Jintang took a breath, grabbed his finger, rubbed it, and moved it down, saying, "You won't let me do it if I can't remember? What if I can't remember for the rest of my life? I'm not allowed to do it for the rest of my life!"

"You're thinking good thoughts." Gongsun said, "I'll give you a year. If you can't remember, I'll find someone else, I've got plenty of people chasing me."

"How dare you!" Bai Jintang raised his eyebrows, "I'll chop up anyone who dares to lay a finger on you and feed him to the dogs!"

Gongsun reached out and cupped Bai Jintang's chin, "Really? Whatever you want."

Bai Jintang gently touched Gongsun's waist and asked, "Tell me, what will happen if I come on hard?"

Gongsun sneered, "You can try."

A mischievous smile appeared on Bai Jintang's face. Gongsun raised an eyebrow; Bai Jintang looked like a ferocious little leopard like this, so cute.

"Then let's try?" Bai Jintang was a little impatient.

Gongsun let him kiss him around the neck before he reached out to pinch his nose.

Bai Jintang looked up at him in dissatisfaction.

Gongsun raised his eyebrows, "Do it if you have the guts, if you do, I will divorce you."

Bai Jintang felt his head buzz and his face turn cold. Gongsun felt that he had overplayed his hand and looked away, muttering in a low voice, "It's your fault that you even forgot about me, you're heartless."

"Go to hell!" Gongsun hit Bai Jintang with a pillow, dashed out of bed and ran downstairs, while Bai Jintang shook his head with a bitter smile.

When he arrived downstairs, fortunately Chen Yu had already turned off the soup and served several bowls.

Gongsun took a bowl and said to Chen Yu, "Everyone should drink it, this soup is nourishing, Bai Chi taught me."

"Aren't you going to drink it?" Chen Yu asked when she saw that Gongsun had only taken one bowl.

Gongsun's nose wrinkled in disgust, "This is stewed with the kidneys of pigs and cows!"

Chen Yu immediately lost the courage to drink the soup.

Gongsun carried the soup upstairs and pushed the door open, "Drink the soup."

Entering the door, he saw Bai Jintang holding his head and lying on the bed, seemingly in pain.

"Jintang!" Gongsun had seen Bai Jintang like this before, he had even fainted before, so he put down the soup and rushed over, "How are you… ah!"

However, before he could finish his sentence, he was pulled over by Bai Jintang who pressed onto the bed and came up to kiss him.

Gongsun smiled and raised an eyebrow, "Hmm? Not drinking it?"

Bai Jintang was helpless. He hurriedly stood up and went to the table to get some soup.

Gongsun was about to sit up angrily, but he heard a clanging sound.

Raising his eyes, he saw Bai Jintang supporting himself with one hand on the table and holding his head with the other, seemingly in considerable pain, as the soup spilled all over the floor.

"Again?" Gongsun looked at him, "Hey, don't make a fuss…"

But when he looked again, he saw Bai Jintang falling down head first, clutching his head in pain, seemingly wanting to scream but unable to do so.

Gongsun was startled, got out of bed and rushed over, "Jintang?"

Bai Jintang's whole body was in a state of stiffness and convulsions. Gongsun could see that his hands were clenched into fists, his fingers were white and hardened into iron, his eyes were tightly closed, and his teeth were clenched.

"Jintang!" Gongsun instantly knew that something was seriously wrong and hurriedly shouted, "Someone!"

Downstairs, Da Ding and Xiao Ding hurriedly rushed over.

"Big Brother!" Da Ding came in and helped support Bai Jintang.

Yang Fan also rushed up and at first glance said, "It's a spasm, don't be nervous, lie him flat and get him oxygen!"

All of them sighed with relief.

Afterwards, allowing Gongsun to stay with Bai Jintang while he rested, the group withdrew.

Bai Yutang and Zhan Zhao had to go back to the SCI office first to continue their work. When he closed the car door, Zhan Zhao saw that Bai Yutang had a grave expression on his face.

Rushing up to take a look, they saw Gongsun sitting on the bed, while the bed next to him was empty and Bai Jintang was not there.

"I fell asleep… he's gone!"

“Gongsun," Xiao Ding saw that Gongsun was so emotional that he looked like he was about to break down, so he said, “don't worry, no one can get Big Brother out from under our noses unless he left on his own!"

Gongsun was stunned for a moment before he calmed down a bit and looked at him, "Where did he go… and is he coming back?"

"He said he would die in the same grave as you, so there must be something to take care of!” Xiao Ding hurried to comfort Gongsun.

Da Ding called Bai Jintang's mobile phone, but the phone was on the table, so he called Zhan Zhao.

Zhan Zhao and Bai Yutang worked overtime at the SCI office and were busy until the early hours of the morning, and had just lain down on the bed in the lounge.

Zhao Jue did not say anything.

Before he could finish his words, Zhan Zhao pulled his wrist and dragged him to the bed, covering him with the blanket and saying, "Don't think about it!"

Translator Notes

So after digesting the news about the international JJWXC site for a few days, I have decided to just say screw it and keep my chapters unlocked. Instead, I have disabled text selection. The passwords were never meant to be permanent, I just needed time to figure out the HTML code for disabling text selection.

The news of the international JJWXC has brought out a knee-jerk reaction from many translators, myself included (this is by no means saying that the reactions of other translators are bad or wrong or incorrect, as everyone has their own style and preferences), and for me it's more about the potential DMCAs than it is people taking the translations. These fan translations are illegal and always have been, unless the translator gets permission from the author. However, books that are posted on sites like this are generally signed to the site and individual authors are not allowed to give such permissions to translators.

I didn't start translating to make money, I did this purely because I wanted to share the joy of reading the books that I found joy in. Because of this, I am going to continue to post until I am faced with a DMCA, or until DMCAs start to happen to other translators. If that happens, I will make changes, but until then, I am going to proceed as normal.

That being said, I have reached out to Er Ya to see if they want to post my translations for themselves so they can make a profit from them, as they deserve it for all their hard work, though I have yet t receive a response.

I am sorry for all the changes in such a short time, but I appreciate all the support I have received from you guys. Please continue to read and enjoy the books I am working on.
