Outside the European-style villa, there is a balcony. Bai Yutang walked out to the balcony, stood behind the wall, and greeted someone. Although he told Zhan Zhao to leave it alone, how could Zhan Zhao leave it alone? Holding the little lion, he wanted to take a look, but someone suddenly patted his shoulder.

Zhan Zhao was startled. When he turned his head to look, he saw Zhao Jue behind him, and was unsure about when he had come in. He raised his index finger and signaled for Zhan Zhao to stay quiet.

Zhan Zhao frowned and though about it, then suddenly said, “You deliberately brought us here because you wanted Xiao Bai to fight with that person?”

Zhao Jue shrugged, “Don’t be stingy, let me borrow your little tiger to teach someone a lesson.”

Zhan Zhao felt inexplicable, and asked, “Who? Can they last in a fight against Xiao Bai?”

Zhao Jue raised his eyebrows, “Don’t worry, he is reluctant to engage your little tiger in real life.”

Zhan Zhao was thinking about it when he heard movement outside; it seemed that someone had jumped off from the second floor. Zhao Hu and Ma Han shouted, “Who?”

Then, a riot kicked off in the yard, and Bai Yutang’s voice was heard, “Go around, stop him and don’t let him run!”

Zhan Zhao really couldn’t sit still, so he turned around and went downstairs holding the little lion. Zhao Jue stood by the fireplace, stroked his chin, and followed with a smile.

There was already great chaos downstairs. When Zhan Zhao rushed down with the little lion in his arms, he saw Bai Yutang standing at the gate, and everyone else was searching, but it was obvious that the person who had fought with him had run away.

Bai Yutang frowned and stood in place, seeming to be very confused.

“Xiao Bai,” Zhan Zhao ran to him and asked, “what’s the matter?”

“Uh…” Bai Yutang looked at Zhan Zhao, “Someone broke in just now… I tried to use a few tricks on him, then he ran away.”

“Who was it?” Zhan Zhao asked.

Bai Yutang frowned even harder, “I… didn’t see clearly, I’m not sure.”

Zhan Zhao was slightly surprised, and he looked at Bai Yutang, “Are you lying?”

Bai Yutang looked at Zhan Zhao, “I… I’m really not sure.”

Zhan Zhao has known Bai Yutang since he was born. After knowing him for so many years, he knows him well enough to know that he has never been so at a loss. Realizing that the situation seems to be serious, Zhan Zhao handed the little lion in his hands to Bai Chi, who had run over to ask about the situation, and pulled Bai Yutang back to their room. Closing the bedroom door, he asked, “Tell me the truth.”

Bai Yutang frowned, seemingly confused.

Zhan Zhao was about to die from anxiety, “You have never lied to me.”

Bai Yutang raised his eyes to look at Zhan Zhao, “Cat, I’m not lying to you… I’m afraid you won’t believe me when I say it.”

Zhan Zhao frowned slightly and asked, “What do you mean? How do you know that I won’t believe you if you don’t say it? Say it! Even if you say it was Spiderman or Batman, I will believe you.” Zhan Zhao spoke seriously.

Bai Yutang sighed slightly, turned his face slowly, and pointed to the wardrobe beside him.

Looking inexplicably, he followed the direction that Bai Yutang was pointing in, and saw a large wardrobe with complicated decorations. The wardrobe was carved with patterns, like a little cupid, and had a mirror in the middle. At first sight, it looked very valuable…

Zhan Zhao stared at the wardrobe and blinked, “You mean… you just had a fight with the wardrobe?”

Bai Yutang almost smiled at Zhan Zhao, and shook his head.

“Cupid?” Zhan Zhao then asked.

Bai Yutang took a few steps towards the mirror, stretched his hand out, and pointed at himself in the mirror, “Him.”

Zhan Zhao was stunned. Bai Yutang stood in front of the mirror, so the one in the mirror was naturally Bai Yutang, but what does he mean? Did Xiao Bai mean that he saw another Bai Yutang? Zhan Zhao walked over, pointed his finger at the Bai Yutang in the mirror, and asked, “Him?”

Bai Yutang nodded.

Zhan Zhao’s eyes widened, “Did you see yourself?”

Bai Yutang frowned, blankly thinking about it, “The clothes were different, the man dressed in black, and… seemed to be a little older. I just got a glance of him, but it was dark and he intentionally covered his face.”

“It’s exactly the same?” Zhan Zhao widened his eyes.

Bai Yutang shrugged, “I don’t know.” After speaking, he found a chair and sat down, “I didn’t see him at first, I just thought it was someone that broke into the property, so I rushed forward, wanting to arrest him. He blocked my backhand very well. I tried two tricks on him, but he deliberately avoided me. I didn’t see his face, he deliberately didn’t let me see him, so I was curious. I tried to find a way to uncover his face, but he was scared when he saw me. He pushed me, jumped off the balcony, and escaped. His skill was good, but he basically didn’t fight back.”

After Bai Yutang finished speaking, he raised his eyes to look at Zhan Zhao inexplicably, “Cat… who is that person?”

After Zhan Zhao finished listening, he frowned and stayed silent for a while before turning around, pushing the door of the room open, and walking out aggressively.

“Cat.” Bai Yutang followed as Zhan Zhao rushed downstairs.

Without seeing Zhao Jue, he saw the butler packing some things up, “Where is Zhao Jue?”

The butler was a little surprised and said, “In the bedroom…”

Before he finished speaking, Zhan Zhao rushed upstairs. Bai Chi and the others came back and saw the very angry Zhan Zhao, and looked at each other with some curiosity. Zhan Zhao had argued with Zhao Jue before, but he never looked that angry. Now, Zhan Zhao was really angry, it looked like Zhao Jue had provoked him, not Bai Yutang. Sure enough, Bai Yutang followed him upstairs, and everyone looked at each other before following with excitement.

Zhan Zhao ran to the door of Zhao Jue’s bedroom, kicked his door open, and saw the big black velvet bed in the middle of the room. Zhao Jue was wearing white pajamas, leaning against the bed, supporting his chin with one hand, and reading the book in his hand; he looked very leisurely.

“Zhao Jue!” Zhan Zhao walked over in two steps and asked, “Did you deliberately make Xiao Bai see that person?”

Zhao Jue raised his eyebrows, and slightly smiled noncommittally. 

“Who is that person? Why does he look exactly like Xiao Bai?” Zhan Zhao asked.

At that moment, Bai Yutang also ran into the room, and saw Zhan Zhao asking Zhao Jue. He closed the door and stood aside watching.

Gongsun waited at the door for the others to come with cups so they could eavesdrop.

“It’s exactly the same?” Zhao Jue laughed, “Isn’t it a mistake of the night… It looks like it’s true, it’s exactly the same… Ah…”

“Who is that person?” Bai Yutang asked Zhao Jue, “I haven’t seen them before.”

Zhao Jue touched his chin, “I have a bad memory, some things have been forgotten.” Then, he looked at Bai Yutang and smiled, “You might as well go back and ask your dad, or Zheng…” As he spoke, he turned to look at Zhan Zhao, “or your dad… they might remember it.” After speaking, he shrugged, adjusted his posture, and asked Zhan Zhao, “Would you like to sleep with me tonight?”

“Go die!” Zhan Zhao picked up the pillow beside him and angrily slammed it down on Zhao Jue, “You did it on purpose!”

“Cat.” Bai Yutang came over to hug Zhan Zhao.

Zhan Zhao gritted his teeth and looked at Zhao Jue, “You deliberately mentioned to my dad that I am not his son in front of me, and now you have made Xiao Bai see an inexplicable person, what the hell is this?!”

Zhao Jue moved the pillow, sat up, and stared at Zhan Zhao and Bai Yutang for a long time before speaking, “This is what you two were destined to face after you were born.”

“What do you mean?” Bai Yutang asked puzzledly.

Zhan Zhao and Bai Yutang looked at each other and felt as though they had been trapped in a big net since they were born, including the mysterious behaviour of the older generation, what happened to Bai Jintang back then, and what they were doing in the past. The experiences of growing up, the amazing talent… everything is the fate spoken by Zhao Jue. This fate should be quite terrifying, which is why the older generation stayed silent, and why they sent Bai Jintang away to the distant European continent… Is it all for them to avoid this so-called fate?

“The things you are about to face are quite dark and mysterious.” Zhao Jue walked away from the bed, looked out the window, and spoke flatly, “Your fathers, me, and Bao Zheng were also trapped in this net at your age, and with our ability at the time, we couldn’t escape at all… Because of our incompetence, we caused many irreversible results.”
