Love Murderer 02 – Serial Killer

On a red velvet sofa, there is a red laptop playing 《La Vie en Rose》. The movie is almost over, and the heroine was laying on the hospital bed, recalling her whole life. Slightly sad songs played in the background, bringing a little bit of sadness to the surrounding red.

On a red pillow, there is a black pistol. Beside the pistol, there is a photo, which has been torn in half. On the photo is a pair of burgundy sunglasses... beside the glasses is a red cell phone.

The cell phone vibrated for a long time, then a white hand decorated with bright red nail polish stretched out and answered it.

“Hello?” The voice was so sweet that it was a bit greasy, carrying with it an indescribable temptation.

A man spoke on the other end of the phone, and with just a few words, the woman on this end of the phone had already let out a pleasant laugh.

By the end, the man seemed to have made a promise.

“Well… see you in a while.” The woman’s voice was faintly happy, “You have to keep your word.”

Bai Yutang parked his car outside the crowd and got out of the car with Zhan Zhao.

“Captain.” Zhao Hu leaned half of his body over the yellow police cordon and beckoned to Bai Yutang and Zhan Zhao.

The two of them walked over, jumped over the yellow tape, and walked into the magnificent hotel.

“What’s the situation?” Bai Yutang asked.

“One deceased, seems like a serial killer.” Zhao Hu said as he pressed the elevator button for the 7^th floor.

“Serial killer?” Zhan Zhao was curious, “Has a serial killer emerged recently?”

“A new one emerged.” Zhao Hu said, “It should be the one that the media is very interested in.”

“Huh?” Zhan Zhao and Bai Yutang looked at each other and asked, “Which one?”

“They call her the Red-Lipped Killer.” Zhao Hu smiled. “Three men have died so far. Each of them died the same way, lying on the bed with a smile at the corner of their mouth, shot in the heart, simply and neatly, and there is a card laying next to them with a red lip print on it.”

“The murderer is a woman?” Bai Yutang frowned.

“Unless it’s a man who puts lipstick on and kisses the card.” Zhao Hu smiled.

Zhan Zhao and Bai Yutang glanced at each other — So disgusting!

When they arrived at the door of room 704, they saw that the forensic department was inside collecting evidence, and Gongsun was already doing the preliminary autopsy.

“Captain.” Luo Tian and Bai Chi were questioning the hotel attendant who first discovered the body.

“They said that they don’t know very much. This man was called Wang Shouqin.” Bai Chi said, “He was a business man, and was quite rich. His family is not in S City, so he always stayed alone in this room.”

Bai Yutang nodded and asked, “Does he live alone? There was no one else?”

The hotel attendant shook his head. He was not very clear about the situation, but he had seen him with a beautiful woman dressed in red.

“A woman in red?” Zhan Zhao asked with some curiosity, “When was the last time you saw them?”

“Last night.” The attendant replied.

“Ma Han went to look at the surveillance video.” Luo Tian said, “To look at who the deceased was last in contact with.”

Bai Yutang nodded. At that moment, Gongsun walked out.

“How is it?” Bai Yutang asked him.

“He died last night.” Gongsun said, “He was killed by a gunshot. His expression is a bit strange, he may have taken some drugs before he died, though I will need to go back and perform a full autopsy to know for sure. Also…” Gongsun took out an evidence bag with a white card with a bright red lip print, “I will take this back and analyze the composition.”

“Lip lines are unique, aren’t they?” Zhan Zhao asked, “What about the previous cases?”

“I’ll take it back and compare it.” Gongsun put away his things, “The cases were just turned over to us. Before, they seemed to be vendetta, but now the cases are connected and they think that it was a serial killer.”

However, the victim later changed his confession, and they released him before he was sent to prison. The second person was Qian Chongyou, a well-known matchmaker who specialized in hooking up high-ranking officials with ladies who would lure them into derailment, then blackmail or threaten them… He was notorious. This Wang Shouqin divorced his original spouse a while ago, and he was in love with a 15-year-old girl.”

“Fifteen years old?” Bai Yutang and Zhan Zhao glanced into the dead man’s room in disgust.

“En.” Wang Chao closed the document and nodded, “The girl’s parents had planned to sue him for seducing a minor, but this guy is quite rich and seems to have settled. I just called his wife and she said that Wang Shouqin is a perverted pedophile and there are too many girls that he has ruined, yet she can’t bear to divorce him.”

Everyone looked at each other. Zhan Zhao stretched his hand out to take the evidence bag from Gongsun’s hand, and looked at the two perfect red lips on the white card, “It seems that the murderer is clearing enemies for the women of the world.”

Bai Yutang put his hands in his pockets and helplessly said, “Let’s go in and take a look.”

Zhan Zhao and Bai Yutang put on medical gloves and entered the room.

The room was very clean. This hotel is a five-star hotel. If a room is reserved year-round, it can be seen that the deceased has impressive financial resources.

“Hey, Xiao Bai.” Zhan Zhao rubbed his shoulder against Bai Yutang and asked in a low voice, “This hotel isn’t your brother’s, right?”

“Captain.” As everyone was talking, Ma Han walked in with a CD, “I got the video and it really captured a woman. After she left, the deceased never came out.”

Bai Chi brought over the laptop, and Ma Han put the CD into the disk drive… Soon, a woman appeared on the screen wearing a beautiful bright red dress, and she had black hair and red sunglasses. Bai Yutang pulled Zhan Zhao’s hand, “Let’s go Cat.”

Zhan Zhao glanced at Bai Yutang and was dragged away.

As soon as they walked out of the hotel, Bai Yutang’s cell phone rang. When he picked it up, he frowned.

“What happened this time?” Zhan Zhao asked.

“It’s Bao Sir.” Bai Yutang hung up the phone and said, “He said that another person died, in a villa in the Garden Villa District this time. The method of death is similar to the other three and there was a card on him.”

Everyone glanced at each other, feeling that it was inconceivable.

“This killer is too frequent.” Zhan Zhao seemed to be puzzled, “Serial killers don’t kill people every day.”

“Let’s go and have a look at the scene.” Bai Yutang shook his head and got into the car with Zhan Zhao. Part of the team sent the evidence back to the station and the other part followed Bai Yutang and Zhan Zhao to the Garden Villa District of S City.
