The Extravagant Wedding Ceremony of Gongsun and Bai Jintang

In order to prepare for his wedding with Gongsun, Bai Jintang had already found a church in Copenhagen and bought a small villa nearby. Afterwards, he would fly to Copenhagen to stay there with Gongsun for a few days every year.

Since the large group is made up of young people, they don’t know the traditions of a wedding. Moreover, it was two men getting married, so all that they knew was that there were two best men. Naturally, Bai Jintang had his younger brother as his best man, and Gongsun had Zhan Zhao as his. There were no other family blessings; Bai Jintang didn’t tell his family, and Gongsun had no relatives or friends outside of SCI.

All of the SCI members were very busy. Zhang Long and the twins ran around making arrangements. From ordering cakes, arranging the rooms, ordering meals, and booking plane tickets for the honeymoon, everything was arranged; their abilities were first class. Everything was ready and waiting for the wedding tomorrow.

SCI had helped to eliminate Wolf, which helped both Karula and Leonard a lot. Cauliflower Eugene arrived in Copenhagen a few days ago and airlifted 10,000 roses to Bai Jintang, filling the entirety of his new villa; this was Leonard’s gift to him. Karula’s gift was even more amusing. He sent a few barrels of wine and said that Bai Jintang should pour them into the bathtub. It was very interesting… the idea won Bai Jintang’s heart. When he thought about doing it in wine, he knew that he and Gongsun were both wine lovers, and imagining Gongsun dipped in red wine… tsk, it’s really special.

Everyone was thinking about different things as the wedding approached. Others were busy buying gifts, wanting to give something to commemorate the two. Only Gongsun didn’t know what was happening over the last two days, he was too nervous.

Seeing how every was busy, Gongsun was inexplicably flustered. Knowing that tomorrow was the day of his wedding, Gongsun’s chest felt a little tight, he was short of breath and restless, thinking to himself, ‘I have been single for so many years and have always been free. If I get married… Isn’t it just the two of us together? Although the two of us have together for a while, it still feels different.’ In addition, he recalled that from the time they first met each other up until the current wedding, the middle can be summed up in a simple and clear way, that is – do it! Gongsun always felt that his heart was not at ease. The two of them are very busy and are in love… Will they hate it when they get married? Will it end in divorce? Gongsun’s mind was a mess and he took a deep breath…

During the day, Bai Jintang was busy with business and wedding preparations. Whenever he passed by Gongsun, he wanted to catch him and kiss him. However, Gongsun would always escape, as if he was embarrassed. As he would run away, his face would seem deep in thought, making Bai Jintang baffled.

Zhan Zhao keenly felt that Gongsun was very nervous, so he grabbed Bai Yutang, "Xiao Bai, Gongsun has premarital phobia."

Bai Yutang raised his eyebrows, "How is that possible, he's not a woman."

"It has nothing to do with being a man or a woman." Zhan Zhao glared at Bai Yutang. "Generally, people who have been single for too long will easily get premarital phobia when they talk about getting married.”

Bai Yutang couldn't laugh or cry, "He won't try to escape the marriage, right?"

It was a joke at first, but after saying it out loud, both of them frowned and looked at each other — ‘Right?!’

At twelve o'clock that evening, when Bai Yutang and Zhan Zhao were ready to go to bed after taking a bath, they heard the sound of Bai Jintang knocking on the door to the room next to theirs, "Ce, open the door, what are you doing inside?"

After hearing the noise, Bai Yutang and Zhan Zhao went out and saw Bai Jintang frowning while knocking on the bedroom door anxiously, "Ce!"

Bai Chi and Zhao Zhen came out from the room on the other side, and were joined by other SCI members who had walked over to watch curiously.

"What's the matter?" Bai Yutang asked puzzledly.

"Ce locked the door and told me not to open it. He has been weird all day." Bai Jintang was a little anxious.

They all heard the dull voice of Gongsun inside the room, "Sleep in separate rooms tonight."

"Why?" Bai Jintang puzzled.

"Anyway, sleep in separate rooms." Gongsun said, "I have to calm down and think about it."

"Calm down, shouldn’t you be excited about it? What else do you have to think about other than getting married tomorrow?” Bai Jintang was anxious and looked back at Zhan Zhao, "What's the matter with him?"

Zhan Zhao touched his chin, " I said it earlier, Gongsun has premarital phobia."

"What phobia?" Bai Jintang frowned, looking at Zhan Zhao in confusion.

"Premarital phobia." Zhan Zhao nodded, "There are many reasons for this phobia. It may be because they worry that life after marriage will be different from before marriage, or it may be because of stress, or being more pessimistic... Anyway, he is very anxious."

Bai Chi blinked and asked, "Oh, is it the same as the shadowy bride played by Julia in ‘The Running Bride’? She ran away when she got married…" Before he could finish speaking, Zhao Zhen covered his mouth. 

Everyone turned around, only to see that Bai Jintang's expression was bad and he gritted his teeth, "Want to run?!"

Bai Jintang lifted his foot and wanted to kick the door, but Bai Yutang grabbed him, "Wait, Big Brother, you can't force your way in!"

Bai Jintang was helpless, "What should I do?"

"The balconies seems to be connected." Zhao Zhen reminded him.

Bai Jintang thought for a while, then turned around and walked into the room of Bai Yutang next door. He opened the floor-to-ceiling windows, and when he looked out, he almost screamed in surprise. He saw that Gongsun had tied all the sheets together, hung them off of the balcony, and was climbing down the sheets, really wanting to escape. Their room was on the second floor, although it was not high, Bai Jintang was still frightened.

He didn’t dare to call out to him because he was afraid that Gongsun would fall down. Bai Jintang took off his coat and jumped off the balcony. After landing on the lawn, he ran under Gongsun and shouted, "Ce, what are you doing?!"

Gongsun was taken aback and looked down at Bai Jintang below him. He wanted to climb back up, but he didn't pay attention. His hand slipped and he fell off the makeshift rope.

"Ah!" Zhan Zhao was shocked when he reached the balcony. Fortunately, Bai Jintang had gone down first and raised his hands to catch Gongsun firmly.

Everyone upstairs let out a sigh of relief. Bai Chi was right, Gongsun really wanted to escape.

After Bai Jintang caught Gongsun, he saw Gongsun was nervous in his arms. He shook his head helplessly and carried him back to their room. Gongsun refused to enter, but was eventually stuffed in by Bai Jintang, who closed the door behind them.

Everyone at the door, then glanced at each other. They all scattered to look for cups, rushing back to listen through the door.

"You don't want to marry me?" Bai Jintang asked as he put Gongsun on the bed.

"It’s not that." Gongsun shook his head.

"Then why are you trying to escape?" Bai Jintang was puzzled.

"I don't know, I'm just flustered." Gongsun whispered.

"Why are you flustered?" Bai Jintang asked.

"Aren't you nervous?" Gongsun asked Bai Jintang back.

"What are you nervous about?" Bai Jintang wondered, "I am already very happy.”

After hearing this, Gongsun was taken aback. However, he was less nervous, and he felt a little better than before.

"What are you afraid of?" Bai Jintang sat next to Gongsun.

"We will live together after we get married." Gongsun said, "Then we must be responsible for each other."

The more Bai Jintang listened, the more he didn't understand, "So what? We lived together before. I just want to be responsible for you and marry you."

Gongsun blinked, feeling a little better, and said, "Marriage is the grave of love."

Bai Jintang nodded, "So what? Anyway, we will share a grave sooner or later."

At the door, the twins applauded, "Wow...Big Brother is so talented!"

Everyone nearby put their index fingers to their lips, "Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..."

Gongsun felt much better, and spoke honestly, "It’s okay if you’re not married, but if you get married and get divorced, then you will return to being single again… Will I be able to adapt?”

Bai Yutang blinked at the door, looking at Zhan Zhao, "He really does have premarital phobia."

Zhan Zhao raised his eyebrows, but didn’t respond.

"Is there any way to heal him?" Zhao Zhen asked Zhan Zhao.

“Actually, there is nothing special. This was mainly caused by anxiety. Gongsun lived alone for many years and he is very confident about living alone. However, he is insecure about two people’s lives coming together, so he is nervous. After hearing what Gongsun said, Bai Jintang thought for a while and asked, "Are you worried that I married you on a whim?"

Gongsun looked at Bai Jintang and said in a low voice, "Think about it carefully, you usually do..."

Bai Jintang raised his eyebrows, "I want to do it when I see you, and I can't help it."

Gongsun turned over and laid down. Covering himself the quilt, he thought to himself, ‘I don’t seem to be as nervous anymore. We can talk about it more tomorrow.’

Bai Jintang also got under the quilt, and he grabbed Gongsun's hand, "Then should I tell you that I love you all night?"

‘Crack...’ At the sound of a cup cracking at the door, everyone shouted "Oh my God!" and rushed back to their rooms.

Bai Jintang only said "I love you" one more time before his mouth was covered by Gongsun. Gongsun couldn't laugh or cry, "How come it feels as horrible as saying that I am going to kill you? Do you usually say this in this tone?!"

Bai Jintang had been tossed out, "What else can I do? I've said this to you all my life."

Gongsun was stunned for a while. Feeling that his nervousness seemed to disappear, he covered his head and fell asleep.

Seeing that he was asleep, Bai Jintang still asked worriedly, "Then, will we still get married tomorrow?"

"En." Gongsun nodded, "Marry."

"You won't run away in the middle of the night?" Bai Jintang asked next.

Gongsun stretched his hand out and was caught by Bai Jintang. Rubbing his chest, he laid down and whispered, "Won’t run away."

That night, it was Bai Jintang's turn to not be able to sleep. At about three o'clock in the morning, Gongsun was suddenly woken up by Bai Jintang.

"What are you doing?" Gongsun looked at him sleepily. He had been anxious these days and had finally been able to get some sleep.

"Ce, you seem to have never told me either." Bai Jintang said seriously.

Gongsun froze for a while. He opened his mouth, but was blocked by Bai Jintang, who said, "Forget it, tell me on the day of our wedding. I'm afraid I won’t be able to hold back if you say it now." After speaking, he covered his head and fell asleep. Bai Jintang could clearly see Gongsun's expression just now, and he knew that there was nothing to worry about.

As a result, the two of them fell asleep peacefully in the early hours of the morning. 

The two slept until noon the next day. They were awoken by a deafening sound of slamming at the door. Bai Yutang shouted from outside, "Big Brother, why are you still not getting up? You are going to be late!"

The wedding ceremony was very simple. After entering the church, Bai Jintang ignored the pastor who was about to start. He reached out and took the ring, then put it on Gongsun’s finger. Gongsun also took his ring and put it on Bai Jintang. The forgotten pastor wanted to remind the two that they were skipping steps, but he heard Bai Jintang ask Gongsun, “Will you marry me?”

Gongsun nodded, "En, I will. What about you?"

"I certainly will.” After Bai Jintang finished speaking, he hugged Gongsun and kissed him...

Gongsun was kissed for a while, then asked, "We won’t get divorced, right?"

Bai Jintang frowned, "You dare?! If you dare to say that we will get a divorce then I will kill the twins!”

On the side, the twins gasped. Gongsun felt quite satisfied, and nodded, "Is that so. Now what?"

"Now..." Bai Jintang looked back at everyone, "Now what?"

Everyone looked at each other, then pointed their fingers at the car parked outside, "Go to the new house..."

Bai Jintang became interested when he heard it, and he pulled Gongsun out of the church. The others hurriedly followed.

After a while, there was only the pastor who was left in the church. Looking at the time, the whole wedding lasted only five minutes…

Bai Jintang took Gongsun and rushed back to the villa. The master bedroom was on the third floor, and it had been carefully arranged by the twins. After opening the door, the first thing Bai Jintang saw was red roses on the floor. The huge bed in the middle of the room was also fully covered in them.

Bai Jintang felt very satisfied. He closed the door and began to take off Gongsun's clothes.

"Wait a minute." Gongsun stopped him.

Bai Jintang was dissatisfied, and looked up at Gongsun, "What's the matter? You can’t refuse today!"

"You didn't let me say it last night." Gongsun looked up at Bai Jintang and whispered, "I love you."

Bai Jintang was stunned for a minute, then he suddenly tore open Gongsun's suit, picked him up and rushed towards the bed of roses.

"Wait a minute!" Gongsun saw that Bai Jintang had transformed into a hungry wolf.

"Can't wait!" Bai Jintang stripped Gongsun clean in two seconds and laid him on the bed of roses. The visual impact directly caused Bai Jintang's eyes to turn green. After taking off his own clothes, he began to express his love for Gongsun frantically. The two of them were rolling around in the rose bushes and Gongsun groaned endlessly. It seemed like the two would not sleep that night.

After Bai Yutang and the others came back, they found that the newlyweds had already begun to consummate their marriage. They were a little helpless, so they went down to have the wedding banquet without the couple. After eating and drinking for a while, the twins mysteriously handed a key to both Bai Yutang and Zhao Zhen.

“Big Brother’s master bedroom has two rooms next to it.” Xiao Ding smiled slyly, “We arranged them as well because we had lots of extra material.”

Bai Yutang and Zhao Zhen looked at each other and quietly walked upstairs to take a look… Roses covered the floor and bed, and the bathtub was filled with red wine… The two were immediately refreshed.

Three minutes later.

"Cat, I’ll show you some fun things." Bai Yutang abducted Zhan Zhao into the room and closed the door.

"Chi Chi, there are good things upstairs." Zhao Zhen abducted Bai Chi into the room and closed the door.

That night, there was no sleep in the three rooms. The next day, the six people who had consumed too much energy slept for a whole day…

The next evening, Gongsun, who had been crazy all night, finally woke up. He looked at Bai Jintang next to him and went back to sleep.

Bai Jintang looked at him and laughed, "Are you nervous?"

Gongsun smiled and lay on the pillow, resting his chin in his hand and thinking, "Well, there seems to be another kind of depression called post-marital depression..."

Bai Jintang rushed to kiss his ear and whispered, "Don't worry, you won’t have the chance to feel any melancholy.”
